I wouldn't say it's the best American bbq spot around but it's a solid, reliable restaurant for great meat dishes and panizza! Although the place sometimes has a stressful, too-busy vibe, and I sometimes worry about the level of cleanliness in and around the restaurant and kitchens (haha), I'll take it as a good thing since it just shows how a lot of people like to eat there. It's good for groups because they have these big group meals you can all just share. The Surf n Turf platter has a great variety of beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and fish like salmon and dory. They're all seasoned and cooked in a pretty basic way, all flavorful, but it's up to you to adjust the taste with the three sauces they're served with-- a creamy garlic sauce for the fish, a teriyaki sauce, and a steak sauce. The platter is served with some salad (which is just a plate of lettuce and ordinary vinaigrette) and a huge bowl of rice (which is a bit confusing, haha). Honestly mashed potato would've been better given that it's supposed to be American, or maybe even just more of the salad, but I guess this plays up to our local "ulam"/rice thing. I really like the panizzas though! The Seafood Lovers is good, especially if you have some marinara or puttanesca pasta on the side. Try also the Uncle Cheffy salad. The dressing's pretty good and the crispy pork belly bits add just the right amount of crunch and flavor. read more
