We came for quick grab and go, getting their favorite Dam Good Latte - their house version of Latte with vanilla and caramel. It's indeed more on the sweet side and I would certainly ask for less sweet on my next-go. Nonetheless, loving their strong coffee flavor which seemed to be either medium or dark roast. There isn't many tables to sit and enjoy your beverage and I have always grabbed my order to go. I intend to try more on the menu and would order something if my gut tells me to but I tend to stick to the tried and true. You can taste the espresso and the honey! Service has always been very friendly and efficient. I notice that from time to time, they would have an event, where vendors are set up outside. I would suggest following their social medias to get updates on these special pop-ups.

Place can be hard to find, because there's no signage. Sound a bit sketch already huh? Everything is all good in the neighborhood. I would recommend parking along Jefferson or Harcourt Ave. The private lot is quite small. Ambiance/Decor: Small coffee shop with minimal furnishings. If you can't find a table a chair inside the shop, you can find a chair or table outside of the shop. Service: Service was good. Barista was friendly and informational about the shop. Coffee didn't take long to get to my hands. Drink Of Choice: They didn't have drip coffee when I patronize the shop. The barista said that he could make an Americano instead. The americano was quite solid and wasn't bitter. De La Crema Coffee Shop For Thought: I wouldn't mind coming back to the shop to try out their drip coffee.

We went on Valentine's Day and they had BOGO50 promo so perfect timing to give it a try. It's quite busy on weekend but not taking too long. We went for a couple of their favorites, the Sweet Cinnamon Latte which was like their version of Spanish Latte as well as their Banana Cream Latte. Being a fan of Spanish Latte, I indeed had quite high expectation and I unfortunately thought theirs was bit watered down. The later was more dessert like in a good way, perfect for you who's in love with cream top sweet coffee. Saying it simply, it was like splurging over banana pudding over your latte. Fun fact, the venue occasionally hosted by events so the vibe was mostly lively!

So I looked for a coffee spot closer to the restaurant at which I could do some work. Alibi Coffee is only 10-15 minutes from the restaurant, which made it a good candidate--and off I went. While there's one-hour parking on Washington, Raymond seems to offer unlimited parking (other than street cleaning days)--the friendly, helpful barista directed me over there. Inside, it's a tranquil, clean and comfortable environment that mixes contemporary touches with brick industrial vibes. I'm in my cream top era, so I decided to get their Trademark Cream Top Latte, which uses cold brew and house made cream with a hint of brown sugar. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte. I was warned it was a bit sweeter, but I'd like to see for myself. Wi-Fi seems solid, and there are plenty of outlets (yay!), so this was a great work spot.
