After the first week without hearing anything I decided to call and get a status report: they told me I would have to wait another week for the part to come in. After not hearing anything for another week, again, I called expecting a status report. They told me that the technician would be in in about 15 mins and I would receive a call. After not hearing anything for an hour I called and was told that he wouldn't be in for another 45 minutes. All I wanted was a status report! Finally after another hour, I got a call from the technician saying that the part hasn't come in yet. The next day I received a call saying there was nothing else they could do: that the shop I had taken it to before had done damage to it and that the part wasn't fitting properly. They also mentioned that the laptop wouldn't even turn on. I figured that it wouldn't from the start since I haven't been able to maintain a charge... DUH. Nonetheless, they said they wouldn't charge me anything. When I went in to pick up my laptop they couldn't find my charger. Later, upon further inspection when I had taken it to another facility: we noticed that the keyboard had been damaged and didn't work anymore. It wasn't like that when I dropped it off at Battery Shack... The only good thing is that they didn't charge me for the part they had to order. Other than that I can't find any positives for this facility. I had no communication while they were trying to fix it, and they broke my keyboard. I'm beyond frustrated with this experience. What a waste of my time.

I felt perfectly at ease with the level of expertise Mr. Alan gave to me in his description of how he would handle my prized speakers. Will update on quality and timeliness of service received. Received speakers back roughly 1 week later, super fast turnaround. Quality of work was awesome. Very clean and steady hand. Alan also fixed a faulty voice coil lead, no extra charge! This is very welcomed and has earned a customer for a long time to come. I already have another set for Alan to refoam the surrounds.

The Tv is now sitting proudly in my room with multiple things connected to it and I'm in love with how it looks, Its a unicorn and I haven't found another like it, better yet the board that was replaced is now in my room for the future in case other components need to be fixed. Best service I've gotten from an electronics expert, the man wanted to see it work too, and I wasn't bled for the service, completely reasonable, downright cheap compared to what I feared.
