I don't even like eggplant and I'm in love with this dish. All of the sandwiches hit too. The Italian sushi is interesting, but eat it fresh as the arugula doesn't stand up to refrigeration too well. My perfect foodie day is going to Mike's, buying some mortadella and a ball of homemade mozzarella, then popping into Madonia's next door to get a loaf and some fresh hand-filled cannoli.
