I ordered on grub hub, delivery was really fast. I got the American dream roll which was very good. I asked for the bubble tea to have no added sugar and no ice but it was delivered the opposite. The boba are stale and hard. The California roll I spit out as soon as I bit into it. And had to throw out the whole roll. The imitation crab was BAD and warm. The whole roll was warm. California roll is normally cold. I will not order again. Also ordering on grub hub adds so many fees it costed me $40 for 1 special roll and 1 California and bubble tea. Ridiculous. read more

Best place in town for Bubble tea!! They have so many options and flavors and they offer jellies and popping boba toppings! Everything is so good from their special sushi roll, and chickens wings oh my god their wings are so good and all of the sauces are unique! My favorite is the Thai chili sauce. We ordered for pick up and it was a big order of wings, speciality rolls and bubble tea and their service was pretty fast! We didn't have to wait long for the order and everything was still hot and yummy when we got home! They offer lunch specials from 11am to 3pm excluding Sundays. While scrolling through FB, I saw this place come up a few times. I looked it up and it had good reviews so I decided to try it. It's a PICK UP ONLY place, there are no eating tables. I ordered through their website because Yelp wasn't working. Got a text message saying my order was going to be ready in 25 but in fact it ended up taking 40 min. But I did order a lot of sushi so I didn't mind. While I was waiting in my car, I bought their Thai milk tea w/ boba and it was yummy. Even got a buy 8 get 1 free punch card. But it's only when you order in person. Sushi was $54 with a 10% off discount that gets automatically applied when your total goes over $50 and overall, everything was good. I would order 1 less roll next time as it was very filling for 2 people. And we are pigs lol. I'll definitely try other items on their menu. Mango salmon was my least favorite and the roll with shrimp tempura (a popular item) was really tasty. I wonder if they also own the restaurant next door...they had very similar menus. read more

My family and I have lived in Bayonne for well over 10 years and gave up on Chinese food as it all sucks! Finding Umi has absolutely changed that! He wanted the Hibachi Bowl. I had the 3 rolls for 9.99. I chose the California roll, The Sweet Potato roll and the Spicey crab Roll. I couldn't believe my ears when he said " can I try the California Roll?". I loved my choices! But, he loved the California Roll! That's a huge deal for someone like him! He's the type who always says" That's not the way my Mother makes it". So I was shocked. He said everything tasted fresh and very good. I echo those same words. We've had UMI 3 times in the last 4 weeks. Next he wants to try the Spicey Crab Roll. It may take about an hour to get here but, it is definitely woth it!
