This place has THE BEST general tso! I love general tso with little chicken bits in it! I ordered the second option for spicy and it wasn't really spicy! Will be ordering hot and spicy next time. I also ordered fried dumplings and fried donuts. The fried donuts were SO GOOD! I found myself eating them more than my dinner! Delivery however took some time! The food is very good. I ordered the Kung pao shrimp and it was delightful. It had enough peanuts to give it an appetizing savory crunch, along with the peppers. The spiciness level was not high, even if I chose it extra spicy, but it's not a problem cuz I have hot sauce at home. It was very filling and I found no problems with the shrimps. If you enjoy eating shrimp poo with your shrimp chow mein, shrimp eggroll, or any shrimp dish, then Fu Hing is your place. The first time I ordered shrimp chow mein, I noticed several shrimp had not been cleaned and still had the poo inside the shrimp. I gave them another chance by ordering shrimp chow mein from them again, only this time I asked that they make sure to clean the shrimp. Needless to say they did not. I've been going to Fu Hing for takeout since I moved to Bayonne in 96. I've watched their kids grow up behind the counter. I like that their son is now contributing to the social media aspect, it's nice. But, this review is of the food. Fu Hing is the best take-out in Bayonne. They don't have any seating (except for one table where you can wait for things) but it's worth getting and taking home. They overpack the containers, the prices are great, and the service is always very good. I get a lot of the staples here - the ribs, the dumplings, wonton soup, etc. It's half the price of when I order from places up near work, and the food is much better. It's not gourmet, it's not sit-down, but when you want Chinese take-out it's fresh, it's good and I can definitely recommend it. If I ask for something special (like please don't brush the ribs with extra sauce because I don't need the sugar or make something extra spicy) they always comply. If I have a last-minute, very large order due to a horde of descending relatives, it's never a problem. Recommended; spare ribs, beef & broccoli, hot & sour soup, wonton soup, moo shoo pork (my husband's favorite), & chicken with garlic sauce. My son likes their shrimp with lobster sauce. They throw in extras - you get a freebie when you order over 10.00 (an eggroll, or fried wontons or soup or soda) and you get a pt of General Tso's if you order over 30. Not bad, haha. Cash only! One of the better Chinese take out restaurants in bayonne. They did give us an order of fried wontons at no charge. They were filled with beef. I would try the cheese filled wontons next time. Service was quick and friendly for take out. Will order from them again soon. read more

Ordered online. I was surprised that my order was very fast. Arrived much earlier than expected. The driver was nice called me upon arriving. Food was super hot. However its not as good than I expected for the price. My husband didn't even it any of the food. Wonton Soup also not good. Deducting 2 stars for the price and the taste. read more

This was formerly owned by my family and my family's recipe has been passed down to new owners (family friends). Although my family owned Fu Hing for 15 years, my brother and I still get the cravings and order here occasionally. I am happy to see the new owners continue my dad's success. The boneless ribs, general tso chicken, and classic chicken or beef and broccoli are still my favs and taste just like how my dad used to make it which brings back so many memories. This is another generation of Fu Hing with new young hard working owners and 2 young kids just like how it was when my parents used to own this place. This is what They delivered me... *Warm tasteless noddles barely any sesame *Fried Wonton instead of dumplings *No utensils *No fortune cookies *No sauces ( I asked specifically for hot sauce) When I called back to compliant about my order the woman kept saying 'that's not what you said" repeatedly instead of trying to please their customer, she accuses them of lying. I don't know if there's some new type of management in this place but the people here are now RUDE! First, they forgot to include utensils with our delivery order. We called if they can bring us utensils and the guy on the phone yelling at me saying he will not bring utensils cause apparently, we were supposed to ask for it (first Chinese food place to do this).
