Jack fruit pulled "pork" (vegan) Vietnamese sub
Shannon J.

Great little spot to hit in lethbridge! Unique international groceries, asian deli, & amazing Vietnamese subs. They offer a ton of vegetarian and vegan options which are all delicious. They are very accommodating with their menu & will do half orders of subs! Not quite 5 stars because I feel like the prices of some items are quite over inflated but overall a great spot to check out!

Dried up old carrot skin
Nicola B.

First time eating here as the usual place I use was not open. I ordered a wonton soup to go. The description said "popular soup with organic vegetables and plump wontons". The wontons were ok and I am glad the veg is organic, but they barely make the plural for "vegetables" there were literally 3 beans, 2-3 pieces of grated carrot, a pinch of green onion and a piece of dried up old carrot skin Pictured). The price was extremely overinflated for what it was, I paid $16.75 for it and to be honest, apart from the slick of sesame oil on the top it was all but completely tastless. I will give it a miss in future.

I have a friend that stated my feelings exactly: He expects nothing and except for the rare time he gets less than that, he is never disappointed. I shop there occasionally because they have a can't miss price on something but I always go away with elevated blood pressure.

Huge full-service grocery store with very reasonable prices (for Canada, that is). Super discounts…read moreon groceries and gas with their Mastercard. Produce is usually Canadian-grown and what's in season is the freshest and cheapest stuff you can get. No-name and President's Choice Brands available along with all the standard brands. Great selection, more and more & healthy sections with organic products available in many sections of the store. Produce quality has improved greatly over the course of the last few years. Lots of other stuff too: basic pharma, clothing, housewares, etc. quality comparable to Target. Beware some of the produce is made in China. Canada is not as conscious about GMOs, neurotoxins or carcinogens. Formulas North and South of the border are not consistent for the same label. Bottom line: read your labels.rs learn about great local businesses. I'd give them 5 stars but they don't always carry my goatmilk and sometimes they're out of organic eggs. And they often have problems with long lines at the checkouts which is beyond frustrating.

A array of spices for all your cooking along with sauces to spice up your asian-fusion creations! Have you ever tried crispy duck with peanut butter sauce? Or the spring roll sauce that is store-made? There are also store-made won-tons along with many other products at a very affordable price. Oh and if you have allergies, this place carries a wide assortment of rice flour and non-wheat products that is deemed to be the cheapest in town! You don't have to just eat the same thing over and over again -- try some rice paper and substitute it as a wrap -- make your own bread with their flour, get a mini-sushi course from the owners! They also offer recipes to take home (just ask at the cashier). Don't be overwhelmed by the thousands of products on the shelves -- ask the ppl there, they are more than happy to show you what to do with the products. As for the price judge for yourself -- since it is a family owned business they still keep their prices on par with the huge chain stores. Or perhaps cheaper. Oh they also have a limited selection of chinese pastries -- BBQ pork buns and curry beef -- but that suffices... if you want to go a little more on the edge ask at the cashier for Balut (that is baby duck egg...) oh and they also have fresh sushi... gosh so many products -- and trust me you will discover something each and everytime you visit the place! Have fun -- taste the world at the Asian Supermarket -- the one stop shop!! cheers
