They each came with dipping sauces, but there was an orange sauce on the table that reminded me of a spicy mayo and was really good with everything. For my meal, I ordered the ramen stir-fry, which was savory and flavorful with plenty of vegetables, protein, and a generous portion size. I called the restaurant back & asked if they had sent someone else's order and they apologized and had a new one out to me in ten minutes. They threw in some soup & a spring roll because of the mess up which was very kind. They didn't have to do that. The teriyaki garlic shrimp didn't taste like teriyaki or garlic but I love shrimp so I didn't care. The fried rice was good, a different flavor than your typical Chinese buffet, it was sweet, whatever sauce they're using they should bottle it because it's wonderfu. So the food seems "clean" - no msg or other junk added. However, it was virtually tasteless. I mean, c'mon, add some garlic, onion, ginger, chile,... there're hundreds of options to add flavor. So yeah, food was bland. First time I got the chicken katsu bowl. The chicken was a bit bland, like the chicken itself had zero seasoning, not marinated for flavor, nothing. The breading was ok. Tempura was ok. Second time, I got Sweet and Sour Pork Soba. It wasn't breaded like most places, and that was ok, because I am Keto. But,... I was also a bit glad that there wasn't a lot of sauce, which is usually sugary elsewhere. However, the sauce in hand, was just like water with a little bit of redish something or other. Sweet and Sour is literally sugar (or SOMETHING sweet, like, perhaps, pineapple... ) and vinegar. This was a bowl of Soba with ten, maybe, 1/2" square chunks of tasteless pork, and 2 TB of cabbage. Bland. Unspiced. Boring. Would I eat there again? Probably not. Unless I was more in the mood for "clean" food, then tasty food. It IS possible to do both!
