I got my Primary Care office to send one over within an hour and they never bothered to check it. When I got to the appt, they 1) misgendered me and 2) told me the referral "doesn't work" because it's missing information they never asked for. They had almost an entire day to contact my Primary Care office to ask for the referral to be fixed but because of pure laziness they chose to waste my time. What's worse, is after they told me the referral won't be accepted they said "we have a 15 minute grace period..." like I was going to be able to get my Primary Care office on the phone and a new referral sent over in under 15 minutes. That's asinine. The receptionist was flat out heartless.

Unprofessional and Unresponsive Care This is the second time…read moreI've had to write a review about the poor service at this clinic, and unfortunately, it seems nothing has changed. My first experience involved a serious medication error where my prescription was mixed up with another patient's. Despite calling numerous times and clearly explaining the issue, it took them two full days to correct it. That was frustrating enough. Now, I've been without my medication for 7 days and have made multiple attempts over the last four days to get a simple prescription refill. I've spoken with two different staff members and asked repeatedly for either a manager or Dr. Abernathy to contact me--no one has followed up. The receptionist, whose attitude was cold and dismissive, clearly showed no sense of urgency or empathy. Instead of helping, she pushed me off to Ms. Kia, Dr. Abernathy's coordinator or assistant. I left multiple messages for her, and none of them were returned. I even contacted the Miami-based call center, where I was told for a second time that my request would be "expedited." But when I asked what "expedited" meant, no one could provide a timeline or answer--it was just another empty promise. This has now been repeated with no action taken. To make matters worse, my pharmacy also reached out directly and spoke with a staff member named Nya, who again did absolutely nothing to move the process forward. There is no accountability, no urgency, and certainly no adherence to the basic Patients' Bill of Rights. As my condition worsens each day without the needed medication, I am deeply concerned for my health and frustrated by the clinic's indifference. As a public servant and former medical professional, I find this level of care deeply troubling and unacceptable. I would never treat any patient with such neglect or disregard. Medical professionals are expected to operate with compassion, competence, and integrity--none of which were displayed here. To be clear, this review is not directed at Dr. Abernathy personally, but the ongoing failure of his staff reflects poorly on the entire practice. That this is the second time I've had to write about such experiences shows that these issues are not isolated incidents--they are part of a larger pattern of dysfunction and poor patient care. I have to say, I am disappointed to have heard the desk staff use profanity repeatedly while I was waiting in the lobby. Also, on the morning of my appointment I was escorted into a dark room by the technician , who instructed me to be seated while she removed the used sheet from the examination chair. Afterwards she slammed the door for me. I'm used to being welcomed by a highly professional and friendly staff in his office. Times have change, but I'm beginning to think that St. Agnes needs to revamp their customer service initiatives.

The Tate Cancer Center Radiation Oncology team is the best in Maryland…read more The team is made up of the most experienced and compassionate team of Doctors, Nurses and Radiation Therapists that you will ever come across. They take the time to truly care about you. That you almost forget that you are going through radiation. They even play your favorite music. They will do everything to ease your fears throughout the whole process. If you are looking for an outstanding Radiation Center, look no further than the Tate Cancer Center, you won't find a better place. I highly recommend the Tate Center. If I could give them a 10, I would.

The receptionists, lab techs, and entire infusion staff are all caring, professional and efficient. My pulmonologist, Dr. Olivieri was wonderful. Dr. Patel, the radiology oncologist I first saw at Tate was very understanding and listened to me. The interventional radiology staff were equally caring, efficient and professional. Communication between the various departments is outstanding. I couldn't have had better care.

My experience here was really troubling. I was looking for a dental practice closer to home and…read moremade an appointment for a routine cleaning - I'm usually really good about going every 6 months but due to another medical condition I'd been dealing with I hadn't been able to make the time for a checkup in close to 2 years. I've never had any major challenges, always very straightforward visits with the occasional issues. I appreciated the office accommodating my availability. I completed my paperwork in advance, arrived early for my appt and checked in , only to have 4 people come in after me be seen first. I thought it was really odd that the front desk called my cell phone looking for me while I was in the small waiting room but wrote it off. I was finally taken back 25 mins after my appt time. I was told a full new set of x-rays was needed which made sense, but was then informed it was 28 different photos. This felt really high to me but didn't question it; aside from the x-rat exposure it was also quite painful to have to repeatedly bite down on the positioned for the photos. A few minutes in a piece of the equipment fell off the machine onto me; the hygienist reattached it without apologizing. Before the dentist came I was informed that I could purchase add-ons that insurance doesn't cover, like fluoride and numbing cream. The latter should have been my cue to get up and leave. I'd never heard of such a thing in taking myself and my children to the dentist for many years. I declined. The male dentist was personable but was very aggressive in his technique. I'd never seen / tasted so much blood during a routine cleaning, which he claimed was due to the long time in between cleanings and/or some weakening of gums from my medical condition. I've got a pretty high threshold for pain but it reached a point where I finally had to cry out for him to stop. He quickly started shouting out an extensive list of cavaties, stains, and other damage - including damage to all four wisdom teeth that could potentially be "monitored" instead of instantly removed. When the exam was over I was given an itemized list of fillings / treatments / follow ups and the estimated bill to match and asked to immediately sign it. Normally I'm used to concluding an appt with a bit more guidance, kindness, and even a new toothbrush. This was such a bizarre and painful experience and it felt like I was being pushed into work that I suspect I don't need. I won't be back and will go elsewhere for another look. I'm just thankful that I endured this and not one of my children. I deeply regret not having checked out other reviews before giving this practice a try.

The front desk is nice but the Dentist gave my kids a ridiculous amount of unnecessary X-rays…read more They didn't let me in the back which I didn't like bc I would have stopped all the unnecessary X-rays. My one son never had a cavity ( knock on wood) The dentist knew my other sons medications and he ended up having a lot of cavities she blamed me and sent us to a professional kids dentist which was fine because I wanted a second opinion. They explained it was his asthma medicine that is acidic causing all his cavities. They were amazing I take my son there now and they haven't given him any X-rays
