Here's where the professionalism goes to another level - Peter builds relationships with his clients, throws mixers, and checked up on us a couple of times per year. And, he DIDN'T ASK US FOR THE NEXT DEAL each time he subtly checked in on us over 5 years! He and his team cares about you - long term not just to get a sale. After 5 years of relationship building, we called Peter and the Red Cedar team for support. He came over. We completed representation paperwork, his AMAZING 360 degree Ariel and interior video/photography genius turned up and transformed our house into a buyer's beacon that sold our home within 24-48 hours of posting - FULL PRICE OFFER!!!! My husband and I decided to use BMG to manage our town home after reading their reviews on other…read moresites and finding out that they managed several other similar homes in the area. The Good: They found an applicant to rent our house out at their initial suggested price, which was higher than the price we would've accepted. The whole process from initial contract to move-in of the tenant took about two and a half months, which we felt was a reasonable time frame overall. The company they work with for repairs is very prompt and responsive. Generally BMG's team is also very prompt with their communications. The Bad: Internal communication within BMG is atrocious. They went against our explicit instructions several times. They ignored potential safety issues we'd notified them of until after they'd already shown the property and then suddenly made it into an issue that warranted taking it off the market. My husband and I had to stay actively involved in the entire process because we could not trust them to act in our best interests. We expressed our frustrations multiple times and no changes were made to improve things. The maintenance company they work with is expensive, and because of the poor communication by the time BMG setup repairs we'd wasted a lot of time and didn't want to lose more money shopping around for quotes. We also found out that the maintenance company BMG uses actually charges MORE when you go through BMG versus working with the company directly. Finally, while individual BMG employees were usually prompt in their responses, getting actual information was very hit-or-miss. On more than one occasion we received a reply stating that we'd be sent something by COB, only to get it more than a week later; or we've been told we would get confirmation via email on what was discussed by phone/text, but never actually received that confirmation. Final Impression: As frustrating as the process has been, BMG did find and move in a tenant, and we still don't want to actively manage the property ourselves. Based on our experience thus far I would not recommend this company, but we will now be working with one primary person instead of several and I'm hopeful this will solve a lot of our issues so I'm reserving final judgement for a few months.

Bay Property Management is the WORST managing company ever. They leased a condo to me that has a…read morelien on it. Because of this my car was towed..I never got a parking pass. I had to park on the street while pregnant. They are still representing the property with the lein(14117 bowsprit unit 308) and on the posting they claim that the tenant will get a parking pass and pool access. It is false. I've had over 10 conversations and emails with property manager while living there. The issue was never escalated to her manager. They were slow to handle EVERY single issue. The cherry on top is that they kept my security deposit citing issues that were actually there upon move in. I am done talking to them. They are frauds. Beware!
