Service started out promising in the beginning then concluded sloppily once the end was on the horizon and no money was to be made. For example, after the first tenant moved out we were told to get the carpet professionally cleaned, then replaced altogether in order to rent. The repairs department was the exception, especially the new manager. He stayed on top of the jobs, and communicated before and after.

From day one, he truly listened to our needs and gave thoughtful recommendations about what would be a good long-term investment versus what might end up being a money pit. He wasn't the type to push for a quick sale--in fact, he pointed out property damage and issues we might've missed on our own, which really built our trust. He stood out among all the other real estate agents we attempted working with. Thanks to his guidance and expertise, we ended up getting our top-choice home in just eight days! The process was seamless from start to finish. Even recently, when we needed to relocate, Peter offered to help us find renters and has continued to be supportive. We'll absolutely be working with him again when it's time to sell. As first time home buyers, we felt we got amazing value for the services provided. Highly recommend Peter and the Red Cedar Real Estate team for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, genuine, and reliable agent.

The best way to describe Peter and Red Cedar is high touch, white glove - concierge service. Peter knew the market and had a powerful team of equally adept realty professionals. Here's where the professionalism goes to another level - Peter builds relationships with his clients, throws mixers, and checked up on us a couple of times per year. And, he DIDN'T ASK US FOR THE NEXT DEAL each time he subtly checked in on us over 5 years! He and his team cares about you - long term not just to get a sale. After 5 years of relationship building, we called Peter and the Red Cedar team for support. He came over. We completed representation paperwork, his AMAZING 360 degree Ariel and interior video/photography genius turned up and transformed our house into a buyer's beacon that sold our home within 24-48 hours of posting - FULL PRICE OFFER!!!! This is Red Cedar - all day long. After getting an offer, Peter and his team coordinate every document, appointment, and follow-up like a well oiled machine. The signing appointment was completely painless without any hiccups in the paperwork or payout - again, Peter and Red Cedar are professionals and the service providers (Ex. I made an offer on a home recently (and ultimately purchased) and First Class Title reached out to…read moreme and indicated that the bank that was selling the home would cover a significant amount of the owner title insurance if I chose them to perform the title work and closing with them. I did. Mistake. HUGE mistake. The home was a foreclosure and because of that, my mortgage broker and real estate agent insisted that specific language be inserted into the contract. At the heart of this, there were 2 issues: 1.) The entity that owned the home, had deeded the property to another entity. So to ensure that I was purchasing the property from the correct entity, language needed to be put in the contract via an addendum indicating who had the deed and who was the actual seller. 2.) Language needed to be removed from the contract that would allow the seller to make document modifications AFTER the closing had taken place. Both of these requests took WEEKS to be completed. Each request was a one pager to be included with the contract. As a result, we didn't close ontime and we almost lost my interest rate lock. The contract changes were the kind of stuff that someone could complete in 10 minutes or less. It was only because of my tenacious mortgage broker and real estate agent that we were able to have a successful closing a couple days late. It was the first mortgage in over 20 years my mortgage broker didn't close on time with. First Class Title is massively disorganized, rude and forgetful. Multiple times we were told we would have the documents at a certain time...only to have to call them up and ask them where the documents were...and only to have to re-explain why we were calling and who we were. If they offer to pay part of your closing costs (title insurance)....DON'T TAKE THE OFFER. You're better off avoiding these people, paying the extra money and having a less stressful closing. Their website says "Your real estate closing on your new home or commercial property shouldn't be a grind!". My experience with them was definitely a grind...in a bad way. The old adage of ....you get what you pay for.....definitely applies here. Avoid them at all costs!!!!!
