We booked two 90 minute massages with a 15 minute steam ahead of the massage. When we arrived they had us take off our shoes and gave us sandals to use, we also selected scents for the rooms and our tea preference. From there they showed us our rooms and had us change into robes before heading into the steam. While the space is too small for couples massages, we were able to go in the steam together and after we went into a room to drink our water/tea and relax ahead of the massage. Once they took us into the room the music was relaxing and they did a great job to ask where to focus and check in to make sure the pressure wasn't too much/too little. I had A LOT of tension in my back. While she was working on some problem areas I asked some questions about why it might be so tense/painful and it definitely was a mix of working out the pain to feel relief. The big takeaway was that I shouldn't go years between massages. After the massage we went back to the relaxation room and drank more water before heading out to pay.
