And this tanning salon do set the bar high for other neighborhood salons. The sultry, Cali-meets-Marilyn decor calm you down to their beds in now time. With 3 HI intensity and 1 LOW intensity beds (all new and sanitized), I love to be able to choose the bed / time limit that work for my skin type / condition. They also take appointment as well as walk-ins; which is great! Who would want to wait 10 minutes for their 4 min fake n' bake? BUT if you're late, you loose your spot. If you're planning to try this spot out for the first time, come prepared! Lotion up well in advance and thoroughly - especially if you're doing HI intensity. I went regularly for 3 months and enjoyed it, but once the groupon was all used up I did not return because it was just too far out of my way. Imagine my surprise when I find out that the same weekend I was moving to Summerside, Majestic had moved to Ellwood (much much MUCH closer). So I decided to stop by and check out the new digs and purchase a new package. The new space is absolutely gorgeous. Lots of silver accents that give it a really glamorous look. The old location was pretty cramped and didn't give Karma a chance to showcase her retail items properly (lots of amazing clothes here). But now there is lots of space and I think they're going to do quite well. For tanning, they have 3 or 4 different intensities of beds available, including stand up options. I'm currently using the Silver bed and purchased a one month package at $64.00. If you don't want to do an unlimited package, you can purchase "sessions", rather than minutes. Which is great for those who tan for long times, not so great if you're only going for 5 minutes at a time. Karma and Ashleigh are both very nice and always greet you with a smile. The parking here is infinitely better than at their old location. I couldn't be happier that they've moved to my neighbourhood!! They do take walk ins and you can usually get in, but you may have to wait a bit depending on how busy they are.

The tan was sprayed on very professionally, and there is a nice waiting area and proper procedures to deal with the customer's clothes. For instance, I was given a little bin for my things and it was taken out of the way for the tan, but given back to me when I needed it. Also, they recommend going bra-less immediately after the tan, so I had my bra in hand after I dressed. The technician provided me with a little bag so I didn't have to carry it down the hall. They give you good instructions when you book as to preparing for your tan and they keep a record of your tanning color preferences so that when you go back, you can say-darker than the last time, or whatever. They offer me a choice of sticker to put anywhere to see the contrast. It was fun to do and my results were outstanding. It was a little tricky to find,especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. However, I will recommend it to anyone. If you want a lift in the winter before you go to West Edmonton Mall's Water Park, or you just want to keep the hawkers at bay for your Mexican vacation, consider going here. Unfortunately, it ended up being lighter than I wanted after showering. When I called to ask what could be done the girl said to come right back ASAP and they would put more on me. She said some skin types don't *take* as well to the product and so they need to put on more. I was not charged any extra for the touch-up, and they stored the info so that they know to use the same amount next time. I am using them again this summer!
