With 3 HI intensity and 1 LOW intensity beds (all new and sanitized), I love to be able to choose the bed / time limit that work for my skin type / condition. They also take appointment as well as walk-ins; which is great! Who would want to wait 10 minutes for their 4 min fake n' bake? BUT if you're late, you loose your spot. If you're planning to try this spot out for the first time, come prepared! Lotion up well in advance and thoroughly - especially if you're doing HI intensity. They allow you 4 minutes to get "prep'd up" before the bed starts automatically. Also, must bring eye protection. Check out their website http://www.bodyimagestudios.com/ for a free tanning pass! I asked my dentist for in office teeth whitening. They suggested I do in home teeth whitening due…read moreto my sensitivity. I have tried twice in the past to do it at home I have the custom trays and all. I usually only lasted a few days 2mwith at home as with each application my teeth became more and more sensitive. The dentist said that in office whitening is 10 time worse for pain in cases like mine. My theory is that I would prefer one day of intense pain vs days and days of wearing trays and having pain. I googled teeth whitening and one of the options that came up was Glitz. I read all the info on the sight and decided to make an appointment. I had a cleaning in the 7th so I booked my whitening session for the 11th figured it was best to start with the cleanest teeth possible. Also when I booked my teeth whitening I decided I would try the Hydration Station and booked a combo package. When I arrived the studio was bright an spacious. If I didn't actually walk down stairs I wouldn't have guessed this was a basement of an low rise office building. I was given my waivers to read and sign and whisked into the lounge where I would complete my whitening. The procedure was explained to me and I was told it would be done in 2 15 min sessions so that if I did have any discomfort I could choose not to do session #2. During session one I felt no pain just a slight tingling on my gums which happens with Crest strips or gel in trays. At 15 min we evaluated my progress and I continued with the final session. The lounge chairs are very comfy. There is a TV in the room to watch shows/movies but it was hard to see with the protective eyewear so I just laid back an enjoyed the quiet. I was taken to the room with the Hydration Station and again everything was explained to me. I have NO idea why I wanted to try this as I don't like heat. I don't go into saunas or steam rooms but I was intrigued. I found this to be enjoyable. I think b/c my face was free from the heat and steam I was able to enjoy the benefits. That is generally why I avoid the steam rooms at spas etc as I like to breath freely. At home I don't even enjoy a steamy bathroom I leave the door WIDE open. Anyway my 30 min session was over before a knew it and I felt a lil sad. I even turned up the heat in the last 10 min as I was enjoying it! I was told that depending on my eating and drinking habits my whitening could be redone in 3-6 months. I think I will come every 6 months after my dental cleanings just like I did this time. However I will be back for the Hydration Station before that!

The studio is always very clean and well kept. The rooms are extremely spacious, unlike many other studios I've been to that have such small rooms you basically need to grease yourself up in your lotion just to slide in there. I have never had to wait for a bed; there's always been one available when I walk in - no appointment necessary! More than anything though, the staff are extremely friendly. I am always so amazed that they remember my name (first and last!) every time I walk in there...no matter how long it's been. The owner, Todd, is also very friendly and personable and always takes the time to chat with customers when he's in the studio.

A few times I was in a bed that was a little older and had some of the radio system broken in places but other than that it's been great. My stylist thyda took 30 minutes just to consult and decide on what is best for me. I felt like I was in good hands so I felt comfortable with whatever she decided. The products used were so gentle on my hair and really were conditioning to my hair. The color turned out natural enough but still trendy. It turned out better than I hoped for! My haircut was awesome too. She asked me what I ussually do and cut my hair depending on my maintenance needs!!! No other stylist has asked me that before...I'm super lowkey. I honestly let my hair air dry every day (it's all about the fabulous cut!). But my cut was done to perfection. It was an updated twist on my usual cut and made me look at least 5 years younger. Im old. So I'll take any improvements!!! They use high end products and I ended up buying some ombre products which are top of the line stuff. They also do eyelashes, pedicures, manicures, waxing and even make their own custom lipsticks. I tried one and the all natural oils used really moisturized my lips! Spoil yourself here. Bc you're worth it. And it's worth every penny spent to feel this fabulous after a visit here!

Body Concepts is divine. The outside façade is very deceiving. It really doesn't look like much (no offense to the owners.) The staff are friendly and courteous. It's clean, well decorated and vary fairly priced. You can even share your minutes with your spouse, which we found to be an awesome benefit. It has beds in all sizes and intensities including a stand-up capsule. This is hands down the best tanning in Spruce Grove. And no appointment needed. Better and better!
