I understand employee discipline is private, but members should still expect basic respect, professionalism, and accountability from staff. This location needs stronger staff training and better management follow-through. A gym should feel like a place where members can focus on their health, not deal with rude or dismissive employees. I enjoy tracking my heart rate and making sure I am trying to reach my max in every workout. If you are a first timer, it takes a little bit more time to customize your heart rate to your reader, but well worth it! 2. Awesome instructors like Sue and Thom! They motivated me and since I feel like I am always new, they gave me extra attention to make sure I was doing the exercises right and made me feel welcome! 3. There is a gym you can use in addition to the classes, which I never took advantage off, but it had cardio and strength machines. My only complaint is that the price of $25-30 per class can be steep! That pass is not really a day pass and covers one class only. It is best to take advantage of deals, like they have an awesome NY deal, or ClassPass. Overall, a great gym and you should try it for yourself, especially if you live in Melrose!

Coach Jared was amazing to work with. He quickly assessed my experience and current workout patterns and learned about my overall goals. Normally sessions like these feel like they drag on forever but I felt occupied and accomplished the entire time and it was over before I knew it- we all know, a great feeling when working out. The light conversation was also a nice touch. Through several circuits of weight training I was sweating away, heart rate up and all.
