Bought a couple of Bacon wrapped hot dogs, ice cream bar, Softis ice cream, and a drink for the wife and I. It was no gourmet meal, but it made for a fine budget value deal. You get what you pay for, and we were pleased with what we got. Aside from the usual convenience store staples, they had some Norwegian souvenirs. Service was friendly and excellent. Shop was clean. Location is next to the ferry. I'm a fan!

I've tried several of these as they are great for a fast meal and are better of price than the similar packs you can buy as takeaway from the restaurants. "Fersk Sushi" is by far my favorite for one simple reason. It's fresh! Made the same day they sell it, as it should be. No more dry rice for this girl. They offer sushi packs in several sizes 6 / 8 / 12 pieces and they even offer gluten free! So happy about this. The pack of 12 cost 119kr. * BEER: Rema1000 offers a wider range of beers than my local store does and that's a big plus. Sometimes you want something else than Tuborg... They have a lot of different beers from Lervig and Grans as well as Ringnes, Carlsberg, Corona and so on.

It seems to be a decent brand with a huge selection and reasonable prices. My friend and I actually stopped in to eat at the cafe. We both got lapskaus and it was delicious. We probably should have shared a bowl as they give you a lot for the price. The cafe was clean and quiet which was nice. We also tried a dessert which was (as were most desserts on our trip) yummy. I think if you want to try a traditional Norwegian meal and don't feel like going to a restaurant then either the Coop cafe or the Ikea cafe is a great choice as you're getting good food at a reasonable price.

The staff are always super pleasant and offer help whenever you need it. If you are looking for something specific, you can always ask and they will help you find it, and in some cases if they don't have a product, they say they are ordering it and that it will be in later. The grocery items they offer lean more towards Eastern Asia. They have lots of different kinds of Asian snacks and canned goods, dried noodles, and sauces. A large selection of frozen goods, two refrigerator units with vegetables and different Asian ingredients (they have kimchi!), tofu and herbs. And a bunch of sodas and bottled teas.
