I am a sucker for grocery stores, especially ones located in other countries or different parts of the US. There are Coops everywhere in Norway. It seems to be a decent brand with a huge selection and reasonable prices. My friend and I actually stopped in to eat at the cafe. We both got lapskaus and it was delicious. We probably should have shared a bowl as they give you a lot for the price. The cafe was clean and quiet which was nice. We also tried a dessert which was (as were most desserts on our trip) yummy. I think if you want to try a traditional Norwegian meal and don't feel like going to a restaurant then either the Coop cafe or the Ikea cafe is a great choice as you're getting good food at a reasonable price. read more
