We headed to the back and found a big section of clothing with blue dots on them. My daughter approached the salesman to inquire about the sale. He said "all the items with blue dots are buy one get two free." So she found a table with shorts that all had blue dots on them. She grabbed a few, tried them on, picked out three that she liked. We headed to the counter where they were we made small talk and he rung them up. The total was $60. We asked what the deal was. He said "Oh. Only the items on the wall are buy one get two free. Sorry 'bout that." Since there was a line forming behind me and we'd already wasted over 30 minutes in this store, I just bit the bullet and got them all. But really, it felt a little shady. I think he probably knew the situation with the dots but just didn't say anything? I don't know. It was just frustrating. Ya gotta get your pricing info straight Pac Sun. I asked the girl working there if I would still get the 50% off of one item, like the sign says, and she said it was for regular priced tanks. Her manager butted in, after I was staring at the sign, and said that since the sign didn't specify, she would still give me the discount. Rock on! I was finally ready to go, when the manager was ringing me up, she noticed that I needed one more item on sale to get another 50% off the sandals I picked out... She asked if I wanted to grab one more thing on sale. I grabbed a tank, and thanks to her pointing that out, I got the tank for no additional charge!
