Thanks to the folks at WMSFS, I got all the right terms tackle I needed, with a diagram of how to setup the bobber rig. Took their advice to go with raw shrimp for bait. Doesn't stay on the hook as well as squid, but it's just fine and gets twice the bites! I'm be back here for sure MAHALO and ALOHA!!!!

Sometimes I feel like a wild woman, so I thought I'd check out this spot. I was on the hunt for a bikini - Maui has fantastic bikini designers, but I wasn't in the mood to spend $160 per piece. Spending over $300 for a bikini just seems wrong, at least in my book. This shop carries a wide variety of bikinis - especially ones for those over 30 who don't want half of their butt cheeks hanging out. There is even a bargain basket where I scored some bottoms for $10. The patient, helpful owner of the shop helped me score a very cute tropical print bikini that was 50% off. All three pieces came to $71. Score! The shop also carries crystal jewelry and other accessories. It's small but well curated. Highly recommend!

Was immediately welcomed by the two sales associates who let me know there were several racks of suits that were 50% off. No way I could resist that! I swim an hour a day and also do water aerobics daily so I go through swimsuits quickly! The best part about their swimsuits is they have built in bras. Like real bras and in my size! I tried in several sizes and styles to determine which would work best. The sales associate brought me at least a dozen suites, always patient and very helpful. It's not fun or easy trying on so many suits but with her help, we figured out my correct size, determined the best style and picked the most flattering colors. The aqua blue was not available in my size so the sales associate searched other stores and is having it shipped, express, from CA to my home, at no charge. I walked out with two gorgeous tankini tops that have lots of support for the "girls" and are super flattering - for $88! Without the patience and assistance from Amara,I would have given up. I read the other reviews and have to say that my experience was vastly different from those that had a negative experience. I received an immediate greeting, was told about the stellar sale, and had assistance until I found what worked. The sales associate was super friendly, made great suggestions and even assisted me with trying on the swimsuits. The topic of my move came up in our conversation. We were only able to find a few in my size and she told me not to worry there's a store on the island. Today I went to the shops at Wailea specfically to go to Canyon Beachwear. The sales associate extremely rude and unprofessional. When I walked in she didn't acknowledge me until I had made a comment to my husband about not getting assisted (which was after a few mintues of shopping and looking through racks in front of the associate.) We were the only customers in the store and she even glanced up from her cell phone when we walked in the store. As I was browsing she even stepped out of the store and stood in front of the doorway to have a conversation with someone who happened to be walking by ( which I'm assuming is a friend) since there were no other associates in the store at the time I ended up purchasing a top from the store but when I left I went into Maui Clothing Company and the sales associate was awesome. I will not be purchasing anything else from Canyon Beachwear and now on will be going to Maui Clothing Company.

After I left, I kept thinking about them. Should've bought 'em then! Cut to 5 months later and I was back in Maui. I made it a point to visit the store again (I didn't even remember the name, but knew it was located in Napili Plaza!) I left with two new form-fitting camisoles in black and beige. Both were reasonably priced. The labels said OS (One size) and I squeezed myself into them. I can breathe in them, so they must fit. LOL Customer service was very friendly. Yep, I'll definitely be going back next year!
