I remember picking up a dress and debating "do I want to try this on..." and right away, one of the gals came over and asked if she could start me a fitting room. It didn't feel like a salesperson pouncing on a sale. It felt almost like a slumber party atmosphere! The original sales gal and 2 other workers were now involved and they made it so fun! Once I got in the fitting room, it felt like a fashion show. But instead of everyone telling me "everything looks great/cute" (toxic positivity), they were using their expert language and asking ME how I felt or what I thought. I really appreciated that! They grabbed me other sizes and showed me other versions of outfits (wide leg pants vs. oversized button down vs. shirt dress). I actually wore one of the shirt dresses out! As I was checking out, I noticed another part of the store. I completely walked right past it! And that was their jewelry side! I fell in love with 2 necklaces on that side! By this time, the owner had come out and it was a full blown party. I recently lost my mom - out of habit, I went to call her to ask which of the 2 necklaces she loved best. I had to use the gals at the store to be my stand-in-mom-energy, and I ended up treating myself to both! Now those pieces were expensive (both 14k!) but I wear them every single day. They remind me of my trip to Maui

This shop had a nice assortment and she purchased a 3 stone pendant and a pair of earrings. She is very happy with her purchase, but the lady we purchased from was the real treasure - personable, knowledgeable.. everything you look for in a salesperson. It's funny, but after a few minutes of conversation she asked if we would watch the shop while she went to use the restroom. I thought that it was wonderful she had that amount of trust in us (and her trust was not misplaced).

The outlet prices are great here, with $4 T-shirts or 7 for $20. They are decent quality, many of which are 100% cotton! There are tote bags here on special for $6.99 (regular $9.99) the same style that costs $16-$20 everywhere else on Front Street! There is a large selection of dresses, aloha shirts, T-shirts and souvenirs, the kind that you find on Front Street so you are getting a real bargain here on the exact same stuff you would find a lot more expensive elsewhere. The service here was friendly and helpful! One of the best things about this store is they have their own FREE parking lot which is a rare find in the Front Street area of Lahaina. Now in 2018 it's still a good place to go but not as much fun as 2010. Haha obviously. I bought a couple baby kids clothes from here and they were a fair deal. My family bought the most from this store. Some items are a little cheaper at the grocery stores so be aware if you're on a tight budget. Other than that, Im a fan of buying from local small businesses so I like this store. Also side note: Dont buy those hawaiian butters in jars. Especially with gelatin in it....it didnt taste good and it had the texture of fat (not butter) which was super gross.

This unexpected jewel box of a boutique features high-quality clothing, jewelry, skin care, baby items, accessories, and much more. There truly is something here for everyone. For example, owner Yazmine Anderson finds those amazing one-of-a-kind jewelry designs that appeal to both those who can't have enough jewelry as well as those, like me, who very rarely buy jewelry. I purchased a necklace that people, including local shopkeepers - are complimenting and asking about. Perhaps most intriguing about Ohia Boutique is how it smoothly combines delicate and floral with passionate and bold - a store for both Beyonce and Audrey. My one regret, one that's true for almost every store I visited on Maui, is the lack of interesting clothing options for larger-size women. Luckily, that doesn't take away for the fun of the store and its collection. And, if you can, make sure to chat with Yazmine who has great lookbook ideas and suggestions on everything from make-up to tattoos. I just wish I could bring this store home with me!
