CON MAN! DO NOT give him any money until the entire job is COMPLETED... CORRECTLY!!…read more We agreed to a quote from Ernesto which included metal dividers and a clean space. That Friday, his crew showed up, got to work immediately, and they were very nice. Ernesto was nowhere to be found. His crew decided to use wood dividers instead of the metal ones we had agreed to. When they were done, the supervisor collected the money - all of it - with the understanding the job was not complete and they'd return the next day to take the forms off. Ernesto finally showed up late, many hours after the crew had left and the cement had set. We asked when the metal dividers would be put in. He said it was too late, the crew messed up, and he HIMSELF would return on Monday to power wash everything, clean up all of the messy cement, and stain the wood nicely. It's been two weeks. We've texted and called Ernesto several times. NOTHING. We're now left with a messed up patio in front of our house.

These folks are very reasonable in their pricing, thanks Jay, very nice guy. Price was lowest out of five other companies. Job was done by Josmine, very skilled concrete installer. They are respectful (most aren't), kind (a welcomed, added bonus), efficient (almost unheard of in the trades), really, really care about doing a great job (one of only a handful of companies we worked with who did), and were very respectful of other work that was done before theirs (WOW)!! That IS unheard of! We cannot recommend them highly enough. If you have any cement or mortar/brick work to be done... you absolutely will not find better people to do it! And they were very affordable. They replaced two sections of our driveway that had broken up over the decades. The older gentleman was an absolute artist with the wet cement! They also repointed some brickwork, and were very, very precise and careful about keeping excess mortar off of other parts of our house. We will absolutely, without a doubt, use them again and again. They are one of the GREAT ONES!!

Heard about Cypress Gulf Coast Roofing from Tommy on WWL Radio…read more A call to them and talked to the owner Ryan Dahmer. He was great from the start. His expertise is above and beyond. My reason for the new roof was due to my aging roof and better insurance coverage. I was interested in a fortified roof and he walked me thru everything. He helped with the roof choice and I just love the results! The roof is now on house on and the whole process could have not been any better from start to finish! His entire operation is a well run machine and the final result is above and beyond anything I could have expected. As Ryan says his price is not the highest or the cheapest but I always would go with a local operation that understands the conditions of Louisiana. I have recommended this operation to several people and cannot say enough about Cypress Gulf Coast Roofing Gutters. Give Ryan a call!

I found pieces of wood with nails sticking straight up left in my backyard. A couple of days later we had a rain and I had piles of nails all over my yard where it appears that they threw the nails in my gutter and they washed out with the rain. They should have run water through my gutters to get all of those nails out and picked up. I have grandchildren and pups that could have easily stepped on the nails. Poor cleanup and supervision of the work.

We could not be more impressed and pleased with Hernandez Stucco…read more We had multiple stucco contractors give quotes on work for our entirely stucco home. We even paid 5k to fix stucco issues that ultimately Did not fix the problem. He provided a drastically different opinion than the others and ultimately was correct that we had more issues with our stucco construction than what can be seen on the outside. Aside from his accurate judgment on what needed to be done he provided: -Impeccable work, high quality -Fair and honest pricing -Ability to make adjustments to plans as we decided to make some cosmetic changes -accurate timing on the length of time it would take to complete the project - He and his crew are efficient and clean. they are respectful of surroundings and worked to avoid excessive damage to our landscaping. - Julio is patient and has attention to detail. If you are looking for work on your stucco, you would be doing yourself a disservice not calling for an opinion by Hernandez stucco.
