Do not use this company if you need your material delivered on time and without defects. They had me waiting all day for material. I finally had to leave because it had been 8 hours. When I called the store they said the delivery was made. The next morning(Saturday) I arrived to work, and no material on site. I called salesman and he won't take my call until Monday. I will have to pay my crew for 2 days waiting on material and I will lose 3 days on a very tight schedule. DON'T BUY FROM 84 LUMBER. GO TO MIKE'S HARDWARE, OR SUNCOAST BUILDING SUPPLY, OR GOD FORBID EVEN HOME DEPOT, BUT DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY WITH 84 LUMBER. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! read more

I ordered many loads of their top soil and dirt mix on which to plant grass seed, and they dumped loads of what appeared to be material that was excavated from a site where a building was demolished. The loads contained about 60% crushed concrete with dozens of 20, 30, and 40-pound rocks. Also lots of other debris, such as pieces of PVC pipes, sections of steel chains, small scrap metal pieces, broken glass, and wood mixed with about 40% dry fill dirt. After I sent them pictures of what they delivered to me, they apologized and refunded the thousands of dollars I paid. Unfortunately, they refused to remove these piles of rubble from my property, and I was forced to pay a contractor to remove it.

Save yourself the headache and take your business somewhere else. I should've known not to buy from there from the service I got before the purchase, so shame on me for making that mistake. It took me 8 weeks to place the order for a door. After waiting a few weeks. I called them and was told the the door had been there for 2 weeks but no one had called me to let me know. I made arrangements to have it installed. I called the following day to give them notice that I was going to pick the door up, I got a call back that they weren't able to locate it and not to show up. It's been a horrible experience and is not even over yet. read more

Get It Done Construction

If I could rate get it done construction zero stars or for that matter negative zero stars I would…read more I don't even know where to start. The unprofessionalism is unmatched. I'll confirm one of the other 1 star reviews as being 100% accurate. When I initially reached out for an estimate I never got a call back with a quote. I should have taken that as a sign and took my business elsewhere. Kevin May was hired to do a job that he clearly was by NO means qualified to do. He half did the job. So many errors so many imperfections. He tried to get away with not properly doing things then when told about them he had an extremely nasty and unprofessional attitude as though this was a service that he was doing for free. He went to lowes to supposedly purchase materials. Only to later find out that he thought that it was okay to purchase chips, and drinks at my expense. Complete and total ignorance. He left trash outside of my home boxes old cabinets ect. he did not clean up after himself neither did he haul off trash from the poor job that he completed. The job remains to have many errors that he feels like I should be okay with. I attempted to report him to the better business bureau but he's not listed. I can definitely see why. Based on the quality of work or lack thereof its clear that he is by no means licensed. I'm not sure who could have given him five stars and why because he is horrible and lacks professionalism and his work is garbage. I will never in life use him if he were the last person standing and I would never recommend him to anybody. I strongly urge you to find you a reputable company that embodies skill and professionalism. I will be taking him to court if I continue to have problems with the job that he was paid to do. He falsely offers a year warranty which he has no intentions of fulfilling. He wants money and lots of it but doesn't want to do the work of the money. Which is sad. NEVER AGAIN... That band aid cost me 800.00. Fast forward 1 year and I called Gowland's dreading the cost. They sent out Art within a few days. I told him what the other company did so he took apart my outdoor unit, went upstairs in the attic and assessed the problem. He even called the manufacturer to check if my upstairs unit was still under warranty. Unfortunately, it was out of warranty for 8 months. (If I had called Gowland's the 1st time I would have saved a small fortune) Basically I needed a new upstairs unit and Art told me that the unit I had was a nice one but it was a little overkill for the size of my house so he recommended a smaller version. The salesman called me up(I believe he's also the owner) and gave me a price that was much lower than I expected. See this is the type of service that keeps companies in business. Pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered. Gowland's was fair, not greedy. The next week, Art had the new unit installed and I had A/C for the 1st time in 8 months. Just in time for the summer. I cannot recommend them enough for their professionalism, expertise and fairness.
