I explained how to pronounce my name (it's not an easy one), and both employees made the effort to say it correctly afterward. That meant a lot to me. The technician also reminded me to put my ID away after returning it which honestly helped because with my ADHD, I probably would've forgotten it there. They offered to let my daughter come back with me during the fingerprinting process, but she was comfortable sitting at the table in the back. The actual fingerprinting took less than 5 minutes, and Sara, the technician, was incredibly friendly, courteous, and easy to talk to. The entire office was clean, organized, and welcoming. One employee even apologized for "the mess," but there truly was no mess at all! I was in and out within about 15 minutes total. I highly recommend Fingerprinting Express for any fingerprinting needs. They also offer notary, passport, and visa photo services, and I would absolutely return for those services in the future.

I thought that was a bit pricey but then I noticed there was a small star at the bottom indicating they had surcharges, gas up charges and additional fees. When I asked what those were the sales rep said an additional 30% of the total cost?!!! Talk about hiding fees and over charging! That would have been $455 for 25 boxes. I found another service that was going to charge me $150 for 25 boxes. I ended up having a lot more boxes than I thought and they still only charged me $250 total. I would have paid well over $500 for the same service with Shred-it. The other company is certified and gave me a destruction certificate on-site. I cannot believe how much more expensive Shred-it was. Talk about gouging the customer and taking advantage of a terrible economy and passing on high gas prices. I will never use Shred-it again.
