I ordered the Beer Battered Atlantic Cod basket with fries, and for $13.99, the cod was not only delicious and crispy, but the fries were just excellent with the fish as well. Not only that, the portions were very large, too. I was super full after that meal! I will absolutely order this again, just thinking about it makes me hungry. Service was top-notch, as usual. There is not a single day where I have came in and it took more than 10 minutes to be seated and have my order taken. Everyone there is so friendly, and it really felt like the service was so good there, they were only serving me. That's just how fast it is. Inside is always great, too. Calico's has a large range of artworks, trinkets, and more. They showcase R66 stuff, too. The inside is never too hot or too cold, and it's all clean and comfortable with a massive space inside. In all, Calico's is not just a little place off the road. It's got excellent food, incredible service, and a welcoming environment. I do recommend for anybody looking for these things. Thank you!

The ribs were good and falling off the bone. The steak was cooked medium rare like I ordered. Feedback for the steak was that is was a little chewy and really could have used a sear. The service was amazing - food came out fast and there was no lag between courses. If you have a huge group of people I would definitely recommend doing it at Joe's - it was really easy to work with their team to set the menu and figure everything out. We originally had 19 people, but last minute somebody couldn't make it. They still charged us for 19 people, so we asked if we could get the meal to go since we paid for it and they were accommodating. The only thing was that the food was so salty. The steak was almost inedible because of how salty it was. The Caesar salad was incredibly salty too. The appetizers were great though - the calamari and shrimp de jonghe were highlights.
