I called to get an estimate because I was moving (obviously lol) but not very far. I was only moving about 10 miles and had contacted one moving company for an estimate already but I wanted to weigh my options. So I emailed The Moovers for an estimate and I received a call the next day from one of the employees. I returned the call but she was out and I was told she would call me back in about 15 minutes. That's fine, right? Wrong. 15 minutes became 4 hours. So I called back. After a few basic questions, she said she would come out to do a walk through in order to give me a proper estimate the next morning. Ok, fine. So the employee shows up and I complimented her on her punctuality which was probably a mistake. She did the walk through and took some pictures. I told her I would also need some help packing (mainly the kitchen area). She gave me an estimate of $1300...for a 2 bedroom apartment. I mean to be honest I don't have that much stuff and most of my things are already compartmentalized (I don't like clutter and like to be able to easily locate things). My biggest feat is my closet and I wasn't even pack that. I just planned on moving those items on my own. I only wanted them to put my shoe rack on the truck. $1300! So I told her fine and she said she would contact me later on that day to give me a proper estimate when she could get back to the office and make some calculations. She also said some people would show up the morning before my scheduled move to pack the boxes and have everything ready for the day of the move... I haven't heard from her since. Long story short, call another company.

Their quote beat every other quote I received. We agreed upon a date and time. The night before service, Tony called me to confirm the appointment time. The morning of, Tony called to let me know he would be here just a few minutes late because he was rerouted due to an accident. (Note: my pickup time was 8:00, and I live between two very busy morning traffic roads, so this is 100% understandable.) I appreciated the communication.. most companies wouldn't call about a 5 minute difference! Jerrell was right on time and actually had everything out and loaded when Tony got here at 8:05. Jerrell and Tony were both so friendly. This is extremely important for me, as I am a single woman. You never know who is coming in to your home, and the kindness and warmth was greatly appreciated. The company was warned about some challenges accessing the house. The salesman said it wouldn't be a problem. After driving for two hours, my wife met the movers on a Friday morning. They were late. When they arrived at the house, the crew decided that they could not get the truck up the driveway and left. She had to drive back to our current place. We had to cancel the next weekend because the movers decided that they couldn't negotiate the driveway. On the third weekend, the movers showed up late both to pack and to load and move. The movers themselves were nice but didn't seem to listen. Some stuff that they were told to move didn't get moved and other stuff that they were told to leave behind was moved even though it was set aside. They showed up without a full crew and refused to pack and load our detached garage. Needless to say, we did not ask them to return to pack and move the rest of our stuff. As far as handling our goods, the crew packed almost everything in wardrobe boxes, their most expensive. The furniture was not dropped and did not seem to be scuffed. A table leg separated from the top due to the load shifting. They didn't drop any boxes but we had to put most everything in storage and it will be a while before we can open the boxes to see if any of the contents are damaged. Same with the furniture; we'll need a closer look to see any damage. I would not recommend Bagby Transfer and Storage.

Our 3 man crew showed up on time as scheduled. The were very professional, and experienced. Knew what they were doing and carefully wrapped our stuff well to protect it . We had 6 rooms and a garage with plenty of stuff. They worked hard and fast. It's worth noting that they had to carry all our furniture and boxes down the driveway to get it in the truck. The rate for the 3man team was $165/hr plus $165 travel fee for the 30 minute trip from Ooltewah to Cleveland. Everything went great and it took 4 1/2 hrs all in. I would recommend this company!

We recently moved from our house in Decatur to another house twenty or so minutes away. Like any…read moresavvy consumers, we searched the internet for recommendations for moving companies that did exceptional work for a fair price. Elite Moving Solutions seemed to have remarkable reviews across the board. I called and spoke to Ryan, who was extremely helpful and friendly. They're in Acworth, so an in-person visit was a bit of a challenge, so he had me send pictures to evaluate our needs. We had a lively and timely back and forth via email with questions from me (always answered fully) and advice from him (always useful and to the point), and arrived at a way-more-than- fair price (what I considered a modest truck fee for two trucks, and a modest hourly rate for five guys) and a move date. The day of the move, the crew arrived on time and ready to go. I can't say enough how incredible these guys were. The last thing we expected on Moving Day was to have fun, and my wife and daughter and I had an absolute blast. I've never seen five guys work so hard and have such a good time doing it, and they were a joy to spend the day with. They were incredibly careful with our stuff, smart, efficient, indefatigable. Our old house was one story, with wide straight hallways and wide doorways and a front porch they were able to back up to and set the ramp directly on--the new house has steep stairs to the second floor and to the basement, narrow doorways, tight twisty hallways, and three different access points, none of them near the truck. A terrible way to end the day, and still their energy never flagged. They enjoyed competing with one another--when John came up the stairs with two boxes of books, Dexter followed behind with two boxes on his back. Maybe best of all, they really seemed to respect and care about one another--it was like having your friends come over to help you move. So major shout outs to Ojo, Dexter, James, John and Jacorey (a father and son team!)--you guys were awesome and we can't thank you enough. We've been unpacking for days now, and I haven't seen a single ding on anything. Seriously, if you're moving, you need to hire this company.
