The acrylics feel sturdy but are so thin that they feel and look natural to me. The polish looks great and I love my little sunflowers. The shop is in a small plaza, only 8-10 parking spots for the 4 businesses located there, but there is street parking available as well. The shop is clean and bright. At the time, Chris was the tech that completed my services. She did a great job, and I was really pleased with the work and continued visiting this shop. Over the years I have had my nails done by all the technicians working there, but never Annie who seems to concentrate on doing acrylics. I typically just do gel mani/pedis. For some time now I have been scheduling my appointments with Jenn. Jenn is very personable and kind. She remembers everything it seems and it's always a pleasant experience when dealing with her. Getting an appointment that fits my schedule is usually not an issue, but they tend to get busier as the weather gets nicer so keep that in mind when scheduling. They accept cards but appreciate cash! I am not a good cash carrier, but I always make sure to have enough to tip with.

I had the sense that she was upset at me for not choosing the gel pedicure as she kept asking me throughout the service if I changed my mind. When I expressed no interest, she was visibly upset. Sanitary wise, I felt uncomfortable that she was touching my feet and also her phone without gloves. I typically get gel pedicures in the area & that's what I originally requested; however the upcharge for gel and gel removal was $25 on top of the $35 standard pedicure. That is a high price for Pittsburgh. I do not know why I didn't just leave but I guess I just wanted get a pedicure before leaving on a vacation. Keep in mind, this is my second time going here (I came here 3 years ago) & both times I've felt pressured to get the Luxury Pedicure. I forgot that there is no difference between the service besides using the callus remover "cheese grater"; It is misleading because a luxury pedicure with callus treatment is typically the add on for the paraffin wax. So you will be paying $10 for, I kid you not, 60 second of that cheese grater callus tool. Anyways, it was an uncomfortable experience socially with the pressure to upgrade to gel& unrelaxing with an emotionally unregulated person visibly angrily chatting on the phone, texting, She didn't apologize for being on the phone, or for delaying the service.
