I took it to Motivated Auto and not only did they not charge me to look at it, they actually took the time time to fix it correctly at a fraction of what I would have paid at the Land Rover dealership. I got the feeling he was just looking for easy money. Times are too hard a gas is 5.00 a gallon . Just really turned me off to this business - like why just for plugs you charging 400.00 and another reputable shop is charging me the same for the whole tune up? The wife was in there spying on the neighbors with her ring camera - really creepy folks -- but the dog was super cool.

I was told "bring it in no worries, we gotcha" Based on that information, I brought my vehicle in. When I picked it up, I was unexpectedly charged $200 for the diagnosis. If I had been told there would be a fee, I could have made an informed decision before leaving my vehicle. I have no issue paying for services when the costs are communicated upfront, but being told one thing over the phone and charged something completely different is unacceptable. I'm leaving this review so other customers are aware and can be sure to get any pricing in writing before authorizing service. Poor communication and a lack of transparency like this erode customer trust. I won't be returning, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience.
