Downtown Container Park hosts a Family Movie Night every Thursday night (this weekly event started…read morein April). Movies are slated to begin around 7 to 7:30PM, although when I attended the movie didn't kick off until around 8PM. Basically they waited until sunset to start the movie. Families are invited to bring blankets and chairs and spread out across the grassy area in front of the projection screen. The movie is set up towards the rear of the park, behind the large playground and in front of the stationary train. To help patrons endure the heat, large fans with misters are placed on both sides of the grassy area. I wouldn't say the fans helped much, though. On this occasion, Ghostbusters was playing and it was a full house. I'd recommend coming early to ensure you get a good spot. Here's the upcoming schedule for August: 8/6 - Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom 8/13 - Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade 8/20 - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 8/27 - The Dark Knight Rises Projection quality and volume was perfectly fine. When we arrived there was still plenty of seating, but there was only one screen by one pool, and we couldn't see the movie from other areas. I am so glad we chose to not get a daybed. The seats were also somewhat worn down and could use updating for better comfort. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable onion-like smell in the auditorium, which was distracting during the movie. While the sound and picture quality were good, the odor, aging seats, and limited space affected the overall experience. I hope these issues can be addressed because the theater has the potential to provide a much better experience for its guests.

The seating is comfortable and you will not find old-school Hollywood film vibes anywhere else in town but from the murals on these walls that create a sense of wonder and excitement! Plus, while inside--there's a whole lot more in store at this older western themed casino to check out. I don't think it matters too much what you see here as long as you have good company and have fun! We saw Masters of The Universe...lol I never thought in a million years I'd see a movie like this but it was truly entertaining. Most of the daily matinee films are under six bucks. As we're sitting in my truck a female security guard rides through on her bicycle. She sees my dog and immediately confronts me saying my dog could jump out of the window and attack her. As I'm attempting to explain that he wouldn't do that she cut me off and starts to say "Since you're going to be argumentative..." I cut her off in return and explained that he wouldn't do that because he's my trained service dog. She immediately pivots to my trailer stating it can't be parked in this part of the lot and I must move it. I have multiple sclerosis and I'm unable to walk long distances, even with the assistance of my service dog...I guess we won't be seeing a movie here because I'm unable to park the equivalence of 2 blocks away and walk to the movies. Each guard has personal recognicence that they've proven they possess for any situation they encounter...in my personal opinion, she could've addressed the situation differently instead of immediately becoming abrasive.

With covid I was absolutely devastating because I thought there wouldn't be any Haunted Houses this year so when my friends and I found out they were opening we reserved our tickets right away. They honestly did the best they could with the regulations and social distancing. My friends and I enjoyed the themed rooms and loved how they decorated it all. I even jumped a few times! I think they did a great job with the timed reservations and getting everyone in. Once we signed all the waivers and checked in I believe we only waited maybe 20 minutes. There was 4 of us in our party and we all had an excellent positive experience. Thank you Fright Ride for an awesome spooky experience!

My friend & I arrived last & the rest of the group was inside checking in so we were able to run inside to join them. The girl outside was super cool & let us store some stuff outside that we couldn't take in with us. We had taken an Uber there so we didn't have a car to put it in. We were celebrating a friend's bday so it was a gift for her. Check in process seemed quick. We had to sign waivers inside. I have NO clue what I was signing as they were long waviers & it was dark & the print was small. I couldn't see it. We were then directed thru the doors to start our walk down the hallway to the doctor's office to watch a short video giving you the rules of the ride. Of course as a Yelper & a person who loves to take pictures for the memories I had asked the female doctor if I could take pictures. She told me I was only allowed to take them in that room. Good thing I asked. 5 of my friend's jumped on one golf cart then the rest of us (4) jumped on the next golf cart. We were told by this big, scary lady that we were not allowed to take any pictures & our masks had to stay covering our mouth & nose. If they saw any flashes or our masks off our face we would be removed immediately. She wasn't very nice about it but I'm guessing that was part of her character & she was role playing??? The inside was all decorated & a little dark inside. The driver went slow. My friend & I sat in the back of the golf cart so we couldn't see what was in front of us. Some characters would sneak around & jump out at us. Some of the people looked like fake dummies but then they moved. YIKES!!!! I did get a few good screams but what scared me the most was the guy with the chainsaw!!!!!!!! He was running it right by my feet. I hate the sound of that along with the smell of gasoline it makes me think its real when I know it can't really chop any of my body parts off...right???.....lol The characters don't touch you @ all & your not allowed to touch them. They do get close upto you. One girl was even whispering in my friend's ear about how she wanted to kill me & cut me up. So definitely not a lot of 6ft social distancing here. So if this is something that is going to bother you then this event is not for you. The golf cart ride itself was apx. 15minutes long & the ride is the fun/scary part of the whole adventure. We had to walk a short distance out into the gift shop area @ the end. They had some t-shirts & sweatshirts for sale. Was kinda hard to see exactly what they were selling as it was dark inside & the items were dark colored. There was a counter that sold soda & water inside along with a wall area that had props that you could take pictures in front of. Once you went outside there was another stand that sold alcohol & some snacks. None of us bought anything. There was also some tall hightop tables that you could hang out at. Bathrooms were port-a-potties outside in the parking lot closes to the end of the ride. My friend used them so not sure how clean they were but if you have to go to the bathroom in the beginning better do it before you get inside as I don't believe there are any bathrooms in there that you can use. My friend's & I have been to Fright Dome in the past & when we went there we had bought GA tickets & saw shorter lines for VIP so that's why we decided to buy VIP tickets for this to hopefully avoid a long wait, which we did. We went on a Saturday night, 10/17/2020 @ 9:30pm. I believe it was about $45 for a VIP ticket. Due to the short duration of the ride I don't feel that price is fair. They sure are banking some money there. There had to @ least be 100+ people in the GA line. With COVID this year & no more Bonnie Springs, no Fright Dome & not much to do for Halloween we wanted to try this place out. I gave 3 stars only due to the high price & the short ride. He sang for about 45 to 50 minutes then a "Female" Deadite came out with bad puns and dirty jokes and the MC came out to promote a special picture signed by the cast and would take bids at intermission. The show itself was amazing. We were in the splatter zone and it MORE then lived up to its name. If you sit there you WILL be covered in blood and wet. You get a shirt but you will be able to see through it after it is done. The whole cast was fun and good but the ones playing Ash, Linda, and Ash's sister stood out. The songs are fun and after you can shop at S-Mart for magnets, T-Shirts, coffee cups and more. Then a picture or two with the cast and MC then off you go, bloody and smiling. I would suggest that any fan of Evil Dead. Horror, or fun unique musicals see this!

The show was already fantastic, but it became unforgettable when we were actually asked to be involved in the show! The crew moved our seats from all the way in the back right down to the front end seats because they wanted us to pretend that we came in late. Getting called out and being part of the joke was such a hilarious thrill! The performers were incredibly funny, and the audience interaction was absolutely great. Even though they didn't have a meet and greet after the show, the experience itself more than made up for it. If you have some time while you're in Vegas, I would definitely recommend catching a show and experiencing it at least once. We had an absolute blast and I'm so glad we chose this show!
