I usually frequent this ulta because it's the closest one to me and I usually have no problems up until recently. This associate named Paola with badly dyed hair was super rude to me when I asked for a perfect shade. She wanted to give me a shade as orange as the one she personally uses, when I obviously don't use the same shade she does. She kept speaking over me and made me feel uncomfortable. Plus her breath smelled really bad so I just told her never mind. If she is working for that location or directly working for urban decay or MILK, then Ulta and MILK cosmetics needs to work on who they are hiring to represent their beauty products. However, a nearby associate helped me out and was way more professional and put together, which made me feel a little more comfortable. read more

Fast curbside pick up service. Even though they don't come out to your car, you can just park in the curbside parking slots and run in and grab your order. I got some Bare mineral powder free for my birthday. I love how they give you a decent size Product. The ultimate rewards program is amazing. You can really rack up your points if you go to Ulta a lot I always have like 10 or 15 $20 sometimes in credit just for my rewards so definitely sign up for that.! read more

Seems like they're always the last store to have new products out. Most of the time I get the excuse they can't sell new stuff until the display comes in for it, even though something might show available online. Employees usually look like they rolled out of bed to get to work and some of them have serious mean girl attitudes. Wifi doesn't work at this store either so you can never check the app to see what's in your cart or on your list. My usual go to store simply because it's the closest to me. read more

curly hair beware. the salon totally botched my hair sadly. I spent time trying to figure out which stylist could do curly hair and even called to ask. The stylist that did my hair was clearly inexperienced with curly hair. so disappointing when she has curly hair also. Not only one of but actually THE MOST hostile shopping experience I've ever had at a store. Was there for about 10 minutes and approached over 5 times, sometimes by the same employees multiple times. One stood over me while I was swatching lipstick sample shades for so long watching me without saying anything that I just felt like leaving. No one else was even on that aisle besides me. This happened repeatedly throughout my short time here. This has never happened at any other location. It's an environment I would expect from Sephora but not Ulta but this one experience was so hostile that I will never return to this location. read more

So I have don't know if you guys are just hiring people because you need them or if you're asking them to do a test cut upon hiring.. But, my girlfriend's hair got butchered. First of all, she said Lenore (girl with black and green hair) was just rough the entire haircut. Even during the shampoo. A shampoo is supposed to be a pleasant, relaxing experience. Then, when my girlfriend got home everything seemed alright, until I got up close to check it out. As a barber, it's just second nature to do so. The bob all around is uneven. Not saying anybody should be fired over this or anything like that. We all have those days. But, this is where you go back and actually check your work. It was very blatant. I also needed skincare products so she walked me over to a super sweet and helpful gentleman, he recommended the Tula line and was so knowledgeable about the products! No stars would really be my rating. I was not allowed to buy product without providing my phone number. I was made aware by the lady at the register that I could not return it if I didn't provide my number. I was more than ok with this. Then a nosy coworker or, I pray it wasn't a manager, that proceeded to tell me the same policy. I accepted the terms I understood them yet she proceeded to explain again and then one more time. So I go in to return some things that I bought off-line and the manager assumes that I don't have a receipt so she tells me I'm gonna get like five dollars back for items worth atleast $50! When she clearly didn't even ask me for a receipt or anything. Then when I ask what information she needs I show her the app where it says the order number and she said no I need the receipt so I go and find it in my email and guess what she needs just the order number... wow. Me and my best friend of 8 years decided to go to Ulta Besuty to purchase skin care products for a Summer Fun Vacation to Hawaii. We bought 2 items and they where HORRIBLE. not just the product itself but everything about it. we both purchased the Bubble Level Up Moustizer when we got home and opened it had exploded and barley any product was left inside, also people's fingerprints where left it was absolutely disgusting. And i got a Essence lipgloss in a pink tinted color, i opened it and it was completely BROKEN. and when i tried to put it on it burned my lips so bad!! i need a refund or just give me new products at this point. don't think i'll be coming back anytime soon. read more

I just relocated to this area a couple of months ago and of course had to find the closest Ulta for all my beauty needs! I recently went to get my hair done and Adam was the stylist. I specifically asked for a master stylist and he was amazing!!! He has been doing hair for over 20 years and it shows. I get 2-3 colors put in my hair and extra toning so it will take anywhere from 2-3 hours. The salon area is a lot larger than a most of the Ulta stores I have seen or shopped at. The staff at this location have always been helpful and super friendly. On every trip I have seen people at both the Benefit and MAC stations getting makeovers or product testing. The store seems very well stocked and clean. I hate going into stores where they aren't keeping all the test products and areas clean. I love Ulta's point system and that you can use them for anything in the store. It really helps if you get a hair or beauty service on the 5x points days too!!! I am probably going to book a facial with them soon, one of the girls came over and gave a consultation as I was waiting for my hair to be done. She gave me a bunch of free samples of some new products. Loved this location and will continue to come back!! read more

If you look through the reviews, you see that customer service here is subpar....and that's a compliment. Never in my life have I experienced such discriminatory attitudes and behaviors like I have here. I think I would be safer at a Klan rally because at least I know what to expect. No one should have to see an employee barely try to give a customer any help but then turn around and give a Caucasian customer their Sunday best. I AM STILL HERE! I know you have the ability to be courteous, but you just choose not to do it with me!!! It's disheartening and almost made me tear up on two occasions. Went in for a haircut and color. I was very specific about the cut, trim with long layers. I left with about 5 inches off of my hair and horrible short layers. It will take at least a year to get the length back in my hair. I wasn't charged for the haircut, however I'm not concerned about the money it's the hair that can't be replaced. I've made another appointment with a trusted stylist to get my hair fixed. Seems like ulta could use some work on their stylist skills and education. If you're going to charge competitive salon prices you need to have competitive professional stylist. read more

I first went there on Saturday to get highlight/lowlights done. I had gotten a flyer advertising Oleplex so I asked for it. Was told they didn't have it but they had a different brand of stuff they could use. When they went to wash my hair I saw Oleplex sitting in the wash area. Was told oh they just don't have a code to bill for for so they couldn't use itbut I could request it next service. She proceeded to dye my hair gray. Not blonde. I said something immediately. She said I had talked about silver so instead of going by the photos OF ME that I showed her with what I wanted. She did it gray. Ended up calling manager next day. Had to take a day off of work to come back and get it fixed. Again showed her the photos OF ME that I wanted it to look like. They used Oleplex this time. And changed me $65 for it. It was to come with a free gift of a take home bottle, did I get that?? NOPE. Blonde photo is of me March 2020- what I showed both women. If it lets me post more than one I'll show you how it ended up. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! They're gonna do what they want. I told her I'd NEVER make the mistake of saying lowlights EVER again. Meh! Seems like they need help in a few areas. Some areas of the store look ransacked, ahem, I am looking at you clearance section. Now I get it, it is clearance and it will be messy. However, maybe the stylists in the salon can straighten it between clients. I haven't seen anyone sitting in those chairs, at least during the week. Some areas need some restocking. So many bare spots and out of products. You need help on the sales floor? Well, good luck with that because you will be hard pressed to find someone and they won't go out of their way for you either. The cashier has always been pleasant every time I went. She will typically welcome you as you walk in. On a recent visit, the cashier actually suggested where I can find something Ulta didn't carry. I come here whenever I need to pick up supplies like hairbrushes, hair bands, blow dryers, nail polish, etc. I've never checked out their salon services, only purchased products. It's so easy to come in here for one item and end up spending lots of money on impulse purchases. Good luck getting anyone to pay attention to you without tracking an employee down here. And if you have kids with you...forget it. You'll end up feeling like you flat out don't belong. I'm the exact customer they should be chasing down to help. The faster I can get help, the faster I'm out of the store with my kids. Had a 10 minute facial by Tori, I highly recommend! This location is small, but they still had many of the great features that bigger Ulta's have like the hair salon or makeup bar. I would only give it 4 stars because of staff availability. There weren't many people available for questions and the few that were, were either busy talking to other staff (not sure if it was personal or professional discussion), or helping another customer.
