I just wanted to let everyone know that April, of April Rain Day Spa no longer rents a suite at Salons Elite.

I would caution anyone from going to this Spa. I scheduled an appointment with her recently and even texted her at her request so she would have my information. Upon arrival at my appointment she was not there. I called and she apparently couldn't make my appointment. She told me she could not find my phone number and wasn't sure if I was scheduled Monday or Tuesday. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I had scheduled this appointment two weeks in advance for my birthday and took off work for this appointment. To not show and not call is just something that should never ever happen to anyone. Got a package for 3 from April; first one great... second one was ok since seem to be in a rush. Third one never had it!!! Cancelled several times due to family emergencies ... I understand we all have situations unexpected; but still she is very unprofessional!!! Will not recommend... read more

I initially found April on Groupon who was offering a package deal of 3 microdermabrasions sessions. Called her to find out more about it and she insisted I buy directly through her. Knowing that using a middle man would pay her less, I decided to be nice and purchase directly through her. The first session was March 3rd and she did a great job. Called for a second appointment and she never responded ever since. Like many other reviews, she is a scam!!! Only pay for what you get. I met April through a Groupon I purchased. Loved my facial. In fact I purchased 3 more to use in the future.

DO NOT BUY A PACKAGE. I have to agree with the more recent reviews - she did an amazing job on the first facial, rushed through the second one (we confirmed a time, my one day reminder was for 15 minutes earlier than original time, she was with a client when I got there and then spent 40 minutes on what was supposed to be an hour long facial - but hey, her next client showed up so it was time for me to go). She didn't change the sheets before my facial because the client before me "didn't get underneath the sheet." I'm not going back for the third facial in my package. It's not worth my time to be aggravated when I'm supposed to be relaxing. read more

I am so happy I was referred to April Rain Day Spa for a facial!! Prior facials have left my face broke out and sore. April was fantastic. She asked questions and chose the proper products for my sensitive skin! After my facials my skin looks and feels great! I loved my facials so much I decided to have eyelash extensions placed! WOW! My lashes look great! I get so many compliments on my lashes because they look so natural! April is very talented and I highly recommend anyone who wants a knowledgable esthetician -- go see April! read more

SCAM ARTIST! I bought the 6 microdermabrasion package on Groupon, great deal. If you get your services. I tried to schedule my first appointment and it took her two weeks to get back to me. I got my first one done and some how she talked me into buying these facials that supposedly went along great with micros. So she gave me a "great deal". I then scheduled another appointment for a week later. She canceled my appointment and hour before. Said she would get back to me to reschedule. I had to end up texting her (she would never answer the phone when I called) tried to reschedule and got one set for another week later. She canceled again the day before. Rescheduled AGAIN and she canceled for a family emergency out of states and stated she would get back in touch. I didn't hear from her for a month. I tried multiple calls and text messages. She finally sent me a long message about almost dying in the hospital and stated because of my age I wouldn't be able to understand her difficulties of juggling three kids, a husband, almost dying, and a business. All I continues to ask was for a refund for the poor customer service and terrible communication. I understand life happens and things come up, but there is a way to handle those things. A refund is all I asked for and she then told me to stop contacting her and blocked my number. After she took almost $300 from me. I will be taking her to small claims court. BE AWARE. I have informed Groupon of this SCAM ARTIST as well. I can tell from the reviews I am not the only one. read more

This Groupon was redeemed without me ever visiting this salon on Nov. 17. I had an appointment scheduled for nov. 30 but was rescheduled by the owner multiple times for her convenience. My appointment time finally came and she STOOD ME UP. I waited over an hour after my appointment time for her to show up or respond to my messages and I got nothing. I took off 2 days of work for this appointment - for the original one, Nov. 30, that she rescheduled 30 minutes prior to appointment time, and for the 2nd one, Dec. 7, that she no showed to after rearranging my time for her convenience. So not only am I out 2 days worth of pay but also $60 for this appointment that never happened, but she still gets paid for it! Businesses run like this are not a business anyone should support! read more

April recently did a facial for me and she was excellent. She is nice and professional and made me feel comfortable. I will go back.

April does a great job, when you can actually get in to see her. She's rescheduled every appointment we've made for the past month and a half. She's been very unresponsive, only texting back after the time of the appointment has already passed or not responding at all. Her facials were wonderful, and I really enjoyed going to see her, but I feel like I've been getting the run around from her, and at this point I just want my money back. read more

CAUTION do not go to this lady! April is running a Ponzi scheme! She will get you in do a good job and talk you into a "special" and offer you 3-4 extra treatments for more money in advance and then you will have to HUNT her down to get the rest of your treatments. She cancelled on me 4x and I only got 2 of my 4 treatments for $214. Excuse after excuse, I would show up and she wouldn't be there or she would cancel at the appointment time! Then claiming that her husband runs the company and that I had to go through him for appointments. I asked for a refund and she told me "she doesn't give refunds" I could give my other treatments to someone else. Really, lady you wouldn't show up! I will see her in small claims court! If anyone else interested in joining me please get back with me, she needs to be out of business for her shady business practices!
