This is the second time that Ulta has allowed me to make a brow appointment at the Benefit Brow Bar, when no technician was available. However, this time, they made the appointment, confirmed it, and allowed me to show up to the store and wait around before an associate even approached me to tell me no one is there to do brows. No one called and called my appointment and I drove all the way there for no reason, and with no one on backup to help. When I tried speaking with the manager, she said she has never been in the store before. This was completely unprofessional and the store barely offered a "sorry" for the complete inconvenience this was. read more

If I already didn't love this location enough already, today I came in for my first haircut at the salon. I had never gone before because the other locations were always out of the way for me. I made my appointment with Hannaley after seeing someone else mentioned her in the reviews and thank GOD they did! I have been searching for a hairdresser for quite some time after getting a few bad haircuts and she is definitely the one. She consulted with me first and gave me advice as to what haircut to get that would make my hair look the fullest as it is relatively thin and fine. She also suggested that I get a color glaze to bring more dimension to my hair. She is a miracle worker! I am obsessed with my new haircut and color, it looks so natural and is exactly what I was picturing in my mind. LOVE LOVE LOVE this location. I'm so grateful to have found someone to do my hair! I really like this ulta location. The store is spacious and has luxury brands that some ulta stores don't. I typically don't have to travel to other ultas for what I need. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the people working there act irritated when I ask for help or to check for a certain product. read more

I am glad that an Ulta in Riverhead exists, as it is fairly nearby. However, now there is one in Bridgehampton, so that's even better. Here are my comments re the Riverhead location. After about six visits, where purchases were made, I can say that although the product selection is very good, and the store is beautiful, the customer service for Mac cosmetics is lacking. Usually, there is no one there who really knows the Mac line. This is frustrating and unfortunate. It makes the staff look a little less professional. I think that this is about a lack of training. Even one star is too much for this Ulta. This is one of the WORST Ultas I've ever been too. The employees might as well not exist in this place. They're all in a corner on their phones or taking to each other. If you need help with a product or have questions about anything good luck finding them, they might as well be non existent. If you do manage to find an employee to help you good luck. & if you do find one to help you there's literally no difference, No knowledge of makeup, no basic knowledge of foundation matching or just regular basic makeup fundamentals. How are you gonna work on a makeup store & not even wear makeup or know nothing about it. Useless in every way. If you know nothing about makeup take someone that actually knows because they definitely don't. Horrible read more
