I cannot say enough about how Amazing my hair came out. Kat Farley is a great hairdresser and is just an absolute sweetheart! You can tell she loves what she does, she's gentle and takes the time to find out what you want. You don't feel rushed at all. I'm from out of town but she nailed my color, haircut and style. Great stylist. read more

I don't think I've ever been to this Ulta before and I actually was really impressed. I think because of the area this Ulta isn't as busy as ones closer to my hometown but that made this Ulta really nice and well stocked. I was able to get what I wanted quickly and with ease which was really great. The staff was nice and there were tons of salon staff that didn't appear to be booked which is great if you're wanting to get a service from then- knowing they're readily available. read more

Me and my mom walked into ultra and went to look for cologne. Immediately I forgot her name, but she helped us to the cologne section.I wanted this Gucci cologne but my mom didn't let me get it so she went into the back and brought me a FREE 4 pack of Gucci samples.I was so happy! Thank you so much I very recommend this place. read more

I had a rather unfortunate experience at this locations salon. I brought my coupon for a $60 cut and color. I gave this to the lady at the beginning of my appointment. So she starts to bleach my hair for the sections I wanted lighter. Then leaves me under the dryer so she can go smoke. 45 minutes later she comes back in, the hair dryer had been beeping for the last 15 of it. She didn't even apologize for it. When she removes the foil my hair is FRIED. It's completely corn white and frizz to the point of no return. She finishes dying and cutting my hair, complaining about how long my hair is (it's to the base of my back, it's not that long.) The whole process (with her smoke breaks) took 3.5 hours. Then she tells me how much I owe. $182 plus her tip. WHAT?! I complain, telling her I have my coupon PLUS her word saying it would cost $60 because of the special. She tells me that because I didn't call her beforehand telling her how long my hair is that it will cost longer. I'm sorry but my hair is very thin, whenever I dye it at home it only takes 1 box. Not 20. So I paid the 182. And later disputed it over the phone. Within one week my hair turned completely a greenish rust color. I called ulta corporate explaining what had happened. I sent pictures. I sent them my receipts, a picture of my hair (before and after dye job), and pictures of my coupon. They couldn't work with my because they didn't know how to handle the situation. Save your hair! Don't go to ulta! read more

My daughter went here for her prom makeup. I was a bit hesitant to because I had read reviews about it and they didn't look too good I was pleasantly surprised by the makeup. They used highend products and did EXACTLY what she wanted. I believe her makeup artist was Maggie. Great experience! read more

Horrible hair nightmare here by stylist Jill. She was giving me a new cut and color with highlights --kind of a cool blond look with some dimension. After burning up the time allotted for my appointment she told me she was going to highlight another customers hair. She put toner on mine and let me sit. And sit. And sit. Meanwhile my hair is turning a weird color with a strange licorice colored cast to it. When she comes to wash it off she starts scrubbing and I immediately know it's going to be awful. It is. She tells me that after a few weeks of washing it things will be perfect. Huh? It's still not. She did say "if you truly can't live with it call me and I'll throw in a couple more highlights on another day.." Whaaaat? Why not fix it before I left? Clearly because I was already there 4 hours!! Also the cut is just bizarre. Going this week somewhere else to get it fixed after living like this for a month. If you want a good cut and color definitely do not choose this salon or at least not this stylist. The worst part of it is that I paid 185 for it and gave her a 20% tip for her time. Surely not for her talent. I should have disputed this with my credit card and still may. Huge huge fail with a capital F. Avoid. read more

My wife is an avid Ulta customer. She is usually at platinum status and is always working toward accruing rewards points. She received an email offer to spend $100.00 by 9/18/21 and receive 500 bonus points. As her husband I decided to help her out so I went to the Ulta Quakertown, PA store and purchased her a $100.00 gift card in her name and under her account. The email did not say that gift cards were not allowed for this offer. Ulta Quakertown, PA reneged on their email offer and told my wife that my gift card purchase would not get her the bonus points and in addition would not count toward the regular points accrual or count toward attaining platinum status for the next year. My purchase does not even show in her account's purchase record. It is like my purchase never happened. This company, in my opinion, is very dishonest. It provides offers and promotions and then has all kinds of unwritten and hidden loop holes that allow them to withhold the promised bonuses and rewards. I would recommend staying away from this company. I will not purchase from this company again. read more

Impressed with this Ulta. My mother treated herself to the brow bar and it was magical! She went in with concerns about her brows being thin and damaged from scarring. Kaitlin cleaned her brows up and taught her how to fill them in and make them look great! She spend a decent amount of time not only reshaping my mom's brows but also teaching her how to use product (makeup? I'm not a brow person) to make her brows look great at home! Props to Kaitlin The rest of the staff were pleasant as well. I was also happy that mostly everything was in stock - there was plenty to look at/play with while my mom was getting her brows done! read more

We go here all the time to look at make-up mostly and to get some acne products for my brother and I. When I was first introduced with makeup, I came here and they did an amazing job showing me the right things for my type of skin. The service there is ALWAYS friendly and couldn't get any better. The only thing I would have to complain about is when we found out the product we used all the time was being discontinued. So, we asked a lady there that was suppose to be a type of special person that knew a lot about skin and acne. She observed my brother's skin and said that his skin was terrible, had horrible acne. She made my mom buy a small little bottle that is the size of my thumb for $20 and made an appointment for him. After my mom didn't feel so secure with the lady we went to a dermatologist instead and it turned out that it wasn't acne. The doctor took one look at his face and knew right away it was eczema. The women there had no idea what she was talking about. read more

I came here to get my makeup done for prom. They did a wonderful job -- the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and qualified. The artist I had (Tim, if my memory serves me correctly) is precisely that: an artist with the makeup brush. The staff is wonderfully friendly, talkative, kind, and take a genuine interest in the customer. read more

I like Ulta and I like there products good selection (usually) I've had a few times where things have been sold out which I understand. But in general great make-up! The reason I'm giving 3 stars is the employees, they are truly few and far between in this store and not generally knowledgable about brands/products. Unfortunately I feel like I know a lot more then they do. I've been using a lot of these brands/products for a long time. read more

I original made an apointment here because it was the only place I could find open on a Monday for a hair cut. I was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly and professional. I've been back a few times and it's always the same. read more

This is my favorite Ulta in the area! I haven't experienced their salon services only the retail experience. The staff is very friendly and everytime I couldn't find something or it was not on the shelf. They will go in the back and check for me. I wanted to purchase their self tanner and they were out and the manager wrote me a rain check no problems. They also let me split orders to use two coupons and save more money! My mom and I came in for her birthday gift and they were out of the mascara and she wanted that and not eyeliner, they let he come back and get the mascara when it came in. I also made a purchase that got a free bag, which they were out of so they subsituted a big beach cooler instead. The only problem I have here is that i spend too much money! read more

I had my hair cut by Kristi. She took her time talking to me about what I wanted (a long bob) and looked at the pictures I had on Pinterest although she already knew exactly what I wanted. She asked me first before she started cutting where I wanted the length to be in the front and the back. It was a big change for me as my hair was to the middle of my back. I would absolutely recommend her as a stylist. It's probably the only perfect hair cut I've gotten in my life because she actually listened to me! I was only charged $42. Well worth the money I spent. The other girls are very sweet and friendly. I've had plenty of foundation matching done and it seems everyone there is willing to help at all times. I don't feel any of the girls or guys are stuck up like the other reviews said. I must shop here at least twice a month. I love everything about Ulta and I really love my lob! read more

I wish I could give a rating of ZERO. In one word: TERRIBLE. I saw the ad for gel manicures in the paper and since i still haven't found a salon I like I figured I would give Ulta a try. The girl that I got - Kacy had NO IDEA what she was doing. I was in the store for almost THREE HOURS. Worst experience ever. I clearly said I wanted my nails short. I said it three or four times and not once did the girl go to cut my nails, she just kept filing them. I finally gave up and just let them be long. Then her next appointment came in to get her gel manicure removed which I thought would be no big deal, but that took forever which added to my wait time. After I had been there for 2 hours she had a hair appointment come in and she had someone else finish my nails. The other girl was much better, but i think it was hard to save the damage that was already done. I am extremely disappointed since the end result looks like something I would do myself if not worse and I had to pay $30 for it. But what really makes me upset was the time that it took out of my day. Train your staff better before you let them work on a customer Ulta. I will not be returning to your store. read more

I don't Know what these people are talking about. This store is amazing! I could be I'n there for hours looking at things! The hair salon is fantastic ! Go to Maggie she is hands Down the best stylist Ive been to and I moved away and am still going to drive an hour+ to get my hair done by her. The girls are helpful and friendly! Love this store read more

Went to Ulta to pick up blue shampoo because I recently got my hair done and it was very brassy and not what I wanted at all. I went to the salon to ask a hair stylist for advice and Amy was so nice and said that she could tone and glaze my hair for me right then! She was awesome and made my hair look exactly how I wanted it for so cheap! I definitely would recommend Amy and plan on going back to Ulta salon to get my hair dyed in the future. read more

I LOVE Sandy for cut, color, and styling. My husband and I had veeeery bad hair--we could not find anyone who knew how to cut or color in the area. Sandy is amazing. She fixed us both and my husband looks fantastic. Me too, I must admit. So happy to like my hair again. read more

I have been going to Kristi for my color and haircuts for a while now. She is not only skilled at what she does, she's also the sweetest person. I have extremely thick hair that usually takes a few hours to do, but she always takes her time and pays attention to detail no matter how long it takes. The other ladies at the salon are just as friendly and we always have a great conversation. I would recommend this Ulta Salon to anyone. The prices are fair and the stylists are very talented. Always a five star experience. read more

I agree. The employees are rude and act stuck up. Not very customer friendly. If you have a question they look at you and roll their eyes. Needs better customer service training!! read more

First of all, this Ulta store stinks big time. The majority of the time, their employees are rude and could give a crap about you, the PAYING customer. And what's with their restocking issues?! They never have my hairspray (although there is clearly a spot for it on the shelf), and once their out of something it's like they never get it back in. Also, I asked an employee once if they had a certain toner in stock and she looked and said it would be in stock the following week. Turns out, it was just stocked in the wrong place. SERIOUSLY?! And while I really hate this store the most out of the ones in the area, I really can't stand the entire chain anymore. They need to get their crap straight. And don't even get me started on their rewards program. Why is it different in some states than others? And why, when my rewards card is from a different state (with apparently a different program) do you accept my card and put points on it? Now I have no way of getting any kind of rewards unless I go back to the state my card is from! One of the worst companies ever, in my opinion. Long live Sephora (and Walmart or Target for the drugstore brands)!! read more

Recently had my nails done in this store. I was less then impressed. They didn't have the correct supplies in stock and the gal told me i had to "work with her" really? is she gonna work with me on my bill? of course not. Although the quality of her work was not bad the service stunk! they are not set up for nails as the nail table is in the front of the store and the salon is in the back. I had to ask her if I could wash my hands after she had me soak in some chemical. Then i had to walk to the back of the store to do it. While i was sitting at the front of the store i got to see how the other employees related to customers. I was shocked when they sent a women away who forgot her 20% off coupon only "to go home and get it" lol I doubt by the look on her face she will be back! The employees spent more time talking to one another about each other then helping the customers. They did greet every customer but unless the customer went looking for them they really didnt offer any further help. One of the customers actually said do you think you can help me maybe give me some advice or something....I dont mind shopping at Ulta when I know what I want but i will think twice about having any services done there again. And the gal from feb 2011 is right about the shelf stocking, they havent had the lotion I use for 2 weeks. read more

I went to the Salon at Ulta in Quakertown, PA. Very unprofessional. My hair used to be dyed black, and I wanted to get my hair professionally lightened and colored a vibrant, bright, cherry-red color. I went to the salon and they gave me their "best" stylist, she slopped bleach in my hair and did not apply it professionally, then let it sit under heat for a few minutes, then went and rinsed and proceeded to wash my hair. The quick, slop-on-bleach job was completely blotchy, in my hair, and next, she proceeded to dye my hair with the color that i initially wanted. She placed me under the heat for about an hour and then washed and rinsed my hair. Upon returning to the salon seat, my hair was frizzy looking, and ORANGE! The stylist then reassured me that everything would be okay and put the same exact dye in my hair again for a second time, placed me under the heater for another hour, and washed my hair. Returning to the salon chair again, my hair was an even brighter pumpkin orange, and the woman told me that she would throw a toner in my hair to make it the vibrant, cherry-red that I had initially asked for and wanted. She threw a toner in my hair, put me under the heat once more, and upon returning to the chair once again, my hair was still pumpkin orange and even more frizzy looking. I got up from the chair and told the woman that I was done, and she begged me to make another appointment with her for later in the week for her to retry coloring my hair with the magical toners that they claimed to have. I told the woman no, and never returned. My hair was very long and beautiful, down to about the middle of my back. After this nightmare at the Ulta Salon in Quakertown, my hair was completely dry and frizzy, so damaged that I basically had to cut it all off and go to an expensive salon for extensive hair damage repair treatments. I was appalled with my service at the Ulta Salon and will never return. I continue to tell people not to go to this salon to this day, I mean, if your supposedly "best stylist" can't even bleach and color hair correctly, then what do you expect people to do? I will never give them my service ever again. Absolutely appalling, especially for what they charge. read more
