Mary reached out to me beforehand to ask about styles and talk over the inspiration shots we sent. My daughter wanted a "cool" haircut, and I didn't want her to look too old just yet - Xandria talked to both of us, assessed her (long, curly) hair as it is and asked about how she wanted to move forward with styling and caring for her hair. Then she did a cut that balanced exactly what we both wanted and works perfectly for her hair type. She's happy with the bouncy layers that make her feel more grownup and she looks beautiful in an age-appropriate way, phew! I should have walked out, but I was desperate for a haircut before a trip and had no time to book somewhere else. The same young man who had been outside smoking came in and he was my "stylist!" He was a nice young man and he washed my hair and proceeded to cut it based on a photo I showed him of a medium length lob. It was a little poufy when he was done, but looked okay. I was shocked at how little he charged me- about half what I would have paid anywhere else. However, after I've washed it myself and tried to style it, I have come to realize that it was a pretty poor cut overall. I won't go back and could not recommend it unless you have a very limited budget.
