I don't normally write reviews, but our experience here was so good that I have to! I brought my EXTREMELY picky eleven year old daughter into Xandria for a new look, which I was nervous about it because she's never happy with the haircuts she gets. Mary reached out to me beforehand to ask about styles and talk over the inspiration shots we sent. My daughter wanted a "cool" haircut, and I didn't want her to look too old just yet - Xandria talked to both of us, assessed her (long, curly) hair as it is and asked about how she wanted to move forward with styling and caring for her hair. Then she did a cut that balanced exactly what we both wanted and works perfectly for her hair type. She's happy with the bouncy layers that make her feel more grownup and she looks beautiful in an age-appropriate way, phew! More importantly, when Xandria asked her opinion at the end, she said "Perfect!" which has literally never happened. Xandria also chatted with my daughter and was very communicative through the whole cut, which really put her at ease. I've been coming to this salon for the past 2 years (almost). After moving to the area from Boston and being disappointed by a couple of other salons I tried, I decided to give Salon Sparrow a try after several recommendations on Facebook. Diana is AMAZING! My hair has never been healthier or looked better. For the first time in my life, I actually get compliments on my hair! Diana is knowledgeable and listens to what I want. She's also honest and would never do something to compromise the integrity of my hair, just because I want it to look a certain way. Wanted a blowout for Christmas. I sent a text as it stated on the website and I heard back within the hour. I was able to schedule a wash and blowout for the 24th. When I arrived for my appointment I was early but was greeted by the staff. The staff also knew my name and made sure I was comfortable when I arrived. Will be back! read more

Every stylist at Salon Sparrow is great! The environment is so friendly and welcoming! I have been going there for about 3 years, and have always had a great experience. Diana does my hair (we have ranged from full and partial balyage, full/partial foils, and my hair is a beautiful ashy blonde because of her) and I absolutely lover her. She is an amazing, talented stylist and so easy to work with! She gives me her professional opinion that is so helpful, but doesn't pressure me. Not only do they know their stuff, but they are professional and personable, which makes every trip to see them enjoyable. Owner and master stylist Mary has been doing my hair for years and I will follow her wherever she goes. She has been with me through countless trends, styles and colors; every time she approaches styling my hair as a collaborative art. You don't just plunk down in the chair and tell her what you want. She helps you with suggestions and feedback as to what will work best for you. You have a dialogue with her to achieve the results you're looking for. She uses top notch products and equipment, not to mention staying current and educated by regularly attending hair shows. Commitment such as this is not always easy to find and it shows that she has a genuine passion for her work. Another reason to come here is the fact that Mary runs an ethical business. Not only does she treat the customer with respect and dignity, but she also treats the stylists that work for her the same way. I and two of the bridesmaids needed a short- notice appointments for hairstyling for my daughter's wedding. The staff at Salon Sparrow were willing to take us, and did a fabulous job. Let me just start by saying that Salon Sparrow is in a beautiful location, next to an adorable center of town. The interior atmosphere is classy, comfortable, and welcoming. I am someone who has always struggled finding a great hairstylist, but Lauren is my miracle worker. She is a skillfull stylist with an amazing personality. If you're looking to get more out of your salon visits, I cannot say enough good things about Lauren's work. I live in Providence, RI and I will drive the 30 minutes because its absolutely worth the experience. read more

Salon Sparrow is a new salon that was once a part of The Right Touch day spa on Rte 1. They now are in the the center of town and the new location I feel is even better than the old. Lauren, Diana, Mary and Emily are all amazing and make you feel welcome in the salon. I have been going to Lauren for my color and style for about a year now and absolutely love what she has done to my hair. She also gives me pointers on how to achieve the look outside of the salon wether it is they type of brush to use, product or setting in the blow dryer. Absolutely love this place! read more

I was looking for a new salon in the north Attleboro area and found salon sparrow on yelp. I decided to try it out so I made an appointment. I'm so glad I did! I got a cut and color from Amanda and she did an amazing job! She helped me pick out the perfect color and took her time and really paid attention to little details during the cut and color. Amanda was super friendly and I didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable at all.I am so happy with how my cut and color turned out. The salon itself is really clean and well set up. The sinks they use to wash your hair are the most comfortable i have ever experienced at any salon I've been to. It's also in a great location. I will definitely be back! read more

I really like it here. The space is really nice, and the owner mary is very friendly. Lauren does my hair and she does a great job. If you're looking for color Lauren is very good and she goes over everything with you before instead of diving in which I appreciate. I don't get my hair done, cut, or dyed often (maybe once a year) but with Lauren she definitely makes me want to keep up with it because she makes me feel comfortable. I wish I could give this salon a negative star. I had an appointment with Erin to color and cut my extensions to match my natural hair color. The final result was awful. My extensions were a dark brown and I needed the middle to ends to be a chestnut color because my natural hair is a little ombre. They were literally bleached and were a fire orange/yellow color that looked NOTHING like my hair. She put them in to cut them and I asked for not too short at all only little layers and she cut at least 6 inches off one of the extension clips. She curled and tried blending them together at the end and I didn't think they matched but thought I'd just dye them myself (being so irritated at this point). But when I got in the car I saw just how AWFUL the color came out. When I booked the appointment I was told she has experience with extensions and this simply just can't be true. I literally had to throw them away because nothing could be done. Erin ruined my hair and I will NEVER go back. I can't even believe she has a job in a salon. Go back to beauty school or simply find a new profession. Horrible. read more

Salon Sparrow is the only place around this area that I would trust to do my hair. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. My recent stylist was Lauren. She was able to fit me and my friend in last minute for a special occasion. I could tell right away that she knew her stuff! She was very informative, and willing to work with the crazy color combo that both of us asked for. Some stylists are so quick to talk you out of what you want if they think it's "too risky," but Lauren listened to our requests, gave us professional advice, as well as various options regarding color combos, then followed through with exactly what she said she could do. I am 100% satisfied with my new look!! Also, I just want to point out one more time how friendly, professional and accommodating Lauren and the rest of the staff at Salon Sparrow are. Good customer service is rare. They have consistently provided top notch customer service, and if that hasn't convinced you to try this salon, then here is one more perk - the prices are very reasonable. You can't beat the service and prices here!! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!! read more
