I noticed a sign that read earring $9.00 with ear piercing. I found a set of 3 earring that were perfect and asked the lady to clarify I if I would get them for $9 if I got my ears pierced and she said yes. I went ahead and put two of the sets of ratings in my first two holes after making sure that was okay. The lady working pierced my holes (unevenly). I walk up to pay and she tells me my total is $43. The piercing was $20 and the earrings were $9 so that wasn't adding up. I questioned it and was told that the $9 deal was for earnings up to $16.95 and the set I picked was $19.95. I looked at the sign again and stated that there was no fine print stating that. The lady goes on to say well there is nothing I can do about it because the machine won't let her change it. I felt helpless and went ahead and posted the $43. I left the store so upset and told the ladies I was with what happened. One of them went back with me and asked why they didn't honor their sign and told them it was false advertisement. The lady saiid it says up to $16.95. Which at that point it did. The lady working just started ignoring us. We had to ask three times before she would tell us the phone number and store number. As we walked out her and the younger lady working there started laughing really loud at us. I am very disappointed and will not be back.

The Nags Head Mall is not fancy but I do tend to find myself there nearly once a day during my summer vacations. Here are some of my common pit stops: Woo Casa - One of my favorite restaurants on the Outer Banks serving Mexican and Asian fusion. Grits Grill - A reliable stop for an early morning diner-style breakfast Duck Donuts - Always a sweet treat. The Cottage Shop - One of my favorite stores on the Outer Banks featuring high quality beachy decor Ulta - A chain store but I appreciate the convenience of being able to grab some extra pampering products while on vacation Food Lion and the Dollar Tree - Not exciting stops but reliable and practical There is plenty of parking in the mall and stores in addition to those listed above.
