I didn't even know what this store was until one of my friends overseas ordered some products from Ulta.com. When I saw how happy she was with her picks, I had to see for myself!
Upon entering the store I was greeted by three different employees and was asked if I needed help. Not this time, just scoping it out! I love the range of products here; they have both high-end and drugstore level brands as well as tons of testers. There are even a couple of Korean brands for skincare, which is nice. The sales are all right and you can save a little more money by signing up for their rewards program. For your birthday they also send you a coupon for a free gift.
Very few cons overall. At one point an employee pointed out that if I spent $16.50 on Ulta brand cosmetics, I would earn a free gift. When another girl rang me up, she didn't mention the gift at all and I was in a hurry so I'd forgotten. But when I came back a few days later I just showed my receipt and was granted the gift without issue. Other than that, some of the testers are probably old because they feel very dry and tacky, but that happens at makeup stores.
Definitely a place to visit if you buy any sort of makeup, and they'll soon carry the e.l.f. line in this particular store! read more
