Sephora never disappoints me (until they make me pay lol) and this visit was no different. I went in with a plan to smell some KAYALI perfumes to purchase for my mom as one of her Christmas gifts, along with grabbing a new bottle of my favorite Versace Bright Crystal. Being that it was only about 3 weeks before Christmas, of course it was packed in the mall and in the store. My boyfriend decided to let me go into paradise by myself as he waited outside, lol. Wise choice. There were guests getting their makeup done, beauty-lovers buzzing about the aisles and just so much going on. Luckily, everyone was being mindful and gracious so there wasn't much bumping about and it was still easy to maneuver. I love that this location (and most of them) are always so tidy despite makeup and fragrance testers being so vital here. And it's always so easy to find what you're looking for if you aren't distracted by all of the other goodies. I went straight to the fragrance are and got focused. I smelled all of the KAYALI scents and omg. I need to write a review just for that brand! But I digress. I found the scent I was looking for and moved onto my own brand for purchase which was an easy find. After browsing around a bit more, I decided that I'd order my mom's perfume for shipping to Florida and purchase mine in-store. But when I saw that long line? Babyyyyy, I was not with it. Luckily, an associate was walking past me and asked me if I was ready to check out and if I was doing so with a card, he could assist me with the handy portable POS that he was holding. SCORE! He got my Versace perfume, pulled out a drawer near the fragrance section and checked me out within minutes. Game changer! Such a smooth visit to Sephora and a great way to treat myself and my mom.

I love the location in W Village; the parking is free and there are plenty of places to eat and relax before or after your services. The price is reasonable too especially with the better quality selection of nail polishes, gel and regular, they offer. I was always looking for a nail spa that's either identical or similar to the one back home and I found it! Never leaving or going anywhere unless I truly have too! This place is a MUST!

The nail technician informed me that she had an appointment but could thread my brows immediately. I could then return at 12:30 pm for my nail services. I arrived at 12:30 pm and stood at the front desk while the technician assisted a customer on the phone for about five minutes. After she hung up, she asked me to choose a color, which took only five seconds. I went to a chair and waited for another ten minutes while she chatted with a colleague about non work related topics, showing each other pictures on their phones. I was genuinely confused. At one point, I convinced myself that she wasn't going to do my nails and that I might be waiting on another technician. At 12:47 pm, she called me over and brought the empty soak bowls to my chair. From 12:47 pm to 1:00 pm, she went to the front desk and then disappeared. At 1:01 pm, I got up and left. I don't understand why I was treated this way. You're not doing me a favor by servicing me. She could have simply said, "Hey, we're booked today, but you can schedule an appointment for another day." That would have been fine. However, having me come in and almost ignore me and act like you're annoyed that I'm there is insane. Salim, please hire technicians who want to work and properly represent your company, even when you're away.
