She does amazing EVERYTHING: Full Body Sugaring and Waxing, Facials, Vagacials, Hydrojelly Masks, Hungarian Mud Masks, Eyebrow Waxing and Henna Tinting...did I say Vagacials? LOL There is also a line of products offered for clients to purchase to continue maintenance at home. The best part is that Skyn Smooth has two locations: Carbondale and O'Fallon, so customers can book for the time and location that is most convenient for them. Anything that you can think of that needs to be removed or refreshed, Britt, the Esthetician Goddess (as I refer to her) will handle with finesse and care. The atmosphere created by Britt at Skyn Smooth is serene, quaint, and calming. Everything is very clean and sanitary, and Britt's personality is absolutely perfect for the line of work she has been chosen for. When I met Britt at her Carbondale location the first time, we hit it off immediately. Hey, when you have someone getting really close to you in a matter of minutes, you need to feel comfortable with them. Amen Church? Amen! I also appreciate the fact that she advertises on her social media and website that she accepts ALL as evidenced by this statement: "Skyn Smooth™ exists to provide a place to enhance, encourage, impower, uplift and guide one on their skin care journey, provide a warming environment and a listening ear to all future and current clients. Skyn Smooth™ is a judgement free zone. All shapes, sizes, and identities are welcome." Now I can really support a business with that type of mindset, and I do. The yoga was a lot different than what we are used to but I dug it. Focus is mainly on Hatha yoga. Although they are in the same building the spa massages seem to belong to a different entity than the yoga. There are several in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Paducah, Kentucky. I did. I compared prices. OMS Carbondale is inflating their costs and they are not in the practice of helping the patient; they want as much money as they can get. Again, do your research. They are not the only option. I canceled my son's appointment once I found out the facts and cross-referenced their charges compared to the norm with other reputable oral surgeons. Their practice manager is nothing short of condescending and rude. Their insurance/treatment plan coordinator does not like being challenged with facts. You can do what you want, but don't pay their price without getting two other treatment estimates. Oh, by the way, any reputable dental practice will not bill for a consult, costing the patient $120, when they can code the visit as a limited exam and it cost the patient $40, plus they get their portion of the insurance allowed. ETHICS!!!!
