I had the most wonderful experience, all due to Miss Shavonne at the North Canton location. I went in for a hair mask and got quickly overwhelmed by the options. Curly girls can feel me when I say I don't want to spend money again on a product that won't work for me. Anyway, she stopped and asked if I needed help, then sent over Miranda (the salon hairdresser), who was able to direct me. After that, Miss Shavonne helped me around the rest of the store. She honestly feels like shopping with a best friend -- not pushy, simply funny and informative. She feels like a memory of when you're young, shopping for makeup before going out with your friends. Pure vibes. She is a wonderful light, and I'll be back to give her all my money. Lol read more

Does not have testers on everything like Sephora. A bottle of dry shampoo was at the front with the lid off thinking it was a tester and the employee was very rude and told us they were going to have to discard it now because of trying it, when we explained again the lid was already off and we are use to testers at Sephora. Would not recommend going to this store. read more

I have experienced poor customer service with an employee, Rachel. She was most certainly derogatory and degrading. I had family shopping with me and they felt awkward and mad for me as well. If you have any type of disability, do not shop at this location. I would not want anyone to experience the harassment I did today. read more

Came here for an urgent hair color service and I was treated so well!! Ciara was my girl and she did a wonderful work on my crazy, pandemic experimented hair. I recently found out that I have eczema and was heartbroken to learn that my makeup was making it worse. I went to Ulta in search of new make-up that would be chemical free, yet still work well. One of the associates was amazing and truly helped me with this task. She found out answers to all of my questions, helped me find the right foundation, concealer, and setting powder that was clean, matched, and gave me the coverage that I wanted. Pricing is about what you'd expect. Great selection of products, they usually always have exactly what you are looking for, or a just as good alternative. However, the customer service is terrible here. Practically non-existent, the only helpful person is the one at the cash register, and emphasis on the one, even while the line is wrapped around the store. read more

Ulta is always a good idea. I needed my nails done in a pinch and got online and scheduled an appointment quickly and SO easily. They only offer gel polish/shellac, not full sets or anything. The price is reasonable ($25 or gel polish) and an extra $5 to take off polish. Julia was great and my nails look exactly how I wanted! read more

Brittany did an amazing job on my hair. She did a ton of de-bulking and texturizing and my hair is soft, shiny and lays down now. I am amazed at her experience and knowledge of the hair industry. She also put blond highlights around my face and I look like a different person. I will be back. She is fantastic! The salon is unprofessional and inexperienced. One of the "stylists" kept glaring at my daughter and I, and made me extremely uncomfortable. The extensions we had put in were falling out and look awful. We were told they would last 6 weeks, and didn't even make it 3 days after following their instructions. I was also overcharged for a tip by the cashier in the front of the store. Overall, it was a horrible experience. I'll never go back to the salon at Belden for anything. The store has nice products, and I will continue shopping there. Just avoid the rude employees, and make sure your total is correct! read more

Very unpleased with the staff. The staff did not make you feel welcomed. One staff member had a rude tone to her. I asked about if someone worked there. Their reply was, no, I don't think she works here. Again, it was their tone. To be honest, felt the young staff could get some lessons in customer service. I have been in the customer service for 15 years and this is not how you treat your customers. Instead of chatting with your coworkers, talk to your customers and ask them if they need anything! Sell your product, just don't stand there. Also, restock your items and clean once in a while. read more

I had a horrible experience here today. Long lines wrapped around the aisles with one with only two people working the registers. An employee was standing in the middle of the line, completely in the way of customers, with a clipboard and had the nerve to ask me to move up in line when I had already been patiently waiting for quite awhile! She also added a very derogatory "hun" to her rude request! I couldn't believe how impolite a worker could be. Knowing she clearly made a mistake, she proceeded to cover up her name tag as I looked at her behind me. I will never again come to this location. Not only are the employees rude, they are constantly out of stock of items, have no one working the online purchase line (which is the whole point of ordering ahead of time to skip the line !), and constantly have long lines. There are often groups of employees congregating in groups to talk amongst themselves instead of acknowledging customers. Also by the end of this review I discovered the rude employee's name that I had this interaction with today is Kyla. If at all costs, avoid coming here! read more

I am very disappointed with this Ulta, first of all they are just never very friendly, even when you ask a question about a product you are interested in purchasing. When you are looking or reading the back of a product and they ask you if they can help you, they say " Can I help you "with such insincerety, and like you have no right to be looking at different products. Another big problem with me is when I go up specifically for an item in the add and you are suppose to receive a free gift with it, they are always out of the free gift, and act like big deal. Lots of times also they are out of a special even if it is just started. I guess that is good for Ulta, and the people doing the good reviews will be the people who are able to get those specials. But on the other hand I look down on this store for not having enough specials to last through the sales. I guess it really doen't matter though because the unfriendliness of the employees is the real reason I do not like shopping this store. read more
