My final appointment was the reason I decided to change doctors. After waiting about 30 minutes, I was called in only to be asked why I was there, as if she had not reviewed my medical record. When I told her it was time for my annual physical, she said she did not have enough time to do it. I reminded her that I had already been waiting for about 30 minutes, but she replied that it had only been 25 minutes and told me to come back the following month. I also asked if she could order my blood work in advance so we could discuss the results at my next visit, but she refused and said she would only order it when I came back for the physical. Throughout my visits, I often felt unheard. She frequently interrupted me before I could finish explaining my concerns and gave me the impression that she was not truly listening. I never felt that my time or my health concerns were a priority. To be clear, my comments are directed solely at the physician. The nursing staff and the front desk team were always kind, courteous, and professional, and I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

I had to come here as Social Security assigned him to me to do my Disability evaluation. From the…read moremoment I walked in the door the staff was hostile and rude and ableist openly making fun of me. Dr. Mark refused to wear a mask and actually slammed the door on my walker! He also had his receptionist slam the receptionist window in my face because I asked them to wear a respirator in an ongoing airborne pandemic. The receptionists also threatened to call the police on me because I asked for a letter saying he was refusing to do the examination for disability and refusing accessible accommodations. This is the only time I have ever reported a medical healthcare worker to the Florida Dept of Health as well as the AMA. This is not a doctor that should be allowed to practice and should never be assigned to vulnerable immune compromised patients from the social security disability office. I was thankfully assigned a different doctor for my evaluation who did mask with their staff and was the exact opposite of this office. I would say run away but if you are disabled then get out of there as soon as you are physically able to do so. Never ever go here. If I could give a negative review I would of below zero I would.

Poor receptionist service ruining an otherwise decent practice…read more I've been a patient of Dr. Rodriguez for a while, and while the doctor is fine, the receptionist Ilene makes every visit and phone call a nightmare. I needed a simple prescription refill and had to call THREE different times over three separate days. Each time, Ilene was incredibly rude and nasty about it. She acts like asking for a refill is some huge inconvenience. The worst part? She told me to "call whenever you want" about the refill, but then got angry and hostile every single time I actually called. She also failed to properly contact the doctor about my refill request, which caused unnecessary delays in getting my medication. Her attitude is completely unprofessional and inappropriate for a healthcare setting. Patients shouldn't have to deal with mean, confrontational staff when trying to get basic medical needs met. Dr. Rodriguez really needs to address this issue with his front desk staff. The receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and Ilene is driving people away with her terrible attitude and poor service. I'm considering finding a new doctor just to avoid dealing with her, which is sad because the medical care itself has been adequate. The office is still listed in the phonebook under the old address. When I finally spoke to the office and asked where they are now she insisted that she told me that they moved , which is not true. When I finally got my mom to the correct office that day a little while later we were then told he refused to treat my mother because she lived in assisted-living. So I spent the whole day running around with an 87-year-old woman from office to office only for them to tell us they refuse to treat her .
