The pita was freshly baked as well. If we haven't eaten maklube vegetal we wouldn't have known the true food here, which is delicious. We were warmly greeted, although there was a bit of a language/cultural barrier at times. The interior is extravagantly decorated with tapestries and cushioned seating. Several hookas were available, and I found the couple smoking a ways away were not bothersome at all. We decided on ordering the big '2 person' platter with a sample of nearly everything on the menu. It was gigantic and had mover a dozen different dishes. There was hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, dolmas, various meats, flat bread and rice.
