New HVAC filter, reset breaker. Thermostat batteries are fine. Still not kicking on. Sent Yelp message to RES because they have always been quick to respond. And they did this time as well and the woman who gave me a call was nice and tried to help. Pretty disappointed that they can't quickly swing by today. From what I've read, it's likely a dirty flame sensor or the ignitor switch (neither of which is a long job - I just don't have the tools). HVAC less than 5 years old, so parts are under warranty with RES; however, I had to call someone else. Bottom line: Someone else is coming today, but I could end up paying for parts. Kind of feels like my current needs weren't lucrative enough for RES to make a concerted effort to swing by.

Freddy and Octavio arrived at the designated time and were professional and very kind. They took the time to tell me about what the service would entail and then had me walk them through the house to see all of the air vents. Throughout the process, they kept me updated about any issues they found and discussed their next steps. We also had a chance to meet Rich who shared photos and videos with us so we could see what they were finding in our vents. I highly recommend Atlantic Duct for their professionalism, reasonable pricing with no surprises, and for their incredible work. They shared before and after photos which were eye opening. Needless to say, we will make sure to do this service every four years as recommended from here on out. Thanks, Octavio and Freddy! Rich, it was great to meet you today. I've already recommended Atlantic Duct to others.

After having some fireplace panels replaced, I had a question about the curing process, sent some pictures to confirm the wear was normal, and the team replied very quickly explaining that what I was seeing was normal, what to look for that wouldn't be normal, and that the fireplace was safe to use. On another occasion, I had a follow up question after the first use of the fireplace of the year and they were responsive, helpful, and even sent a team member out to confirm everything was functioning properly. Fast forward 6 months (I never used the fireplace during the 6 months) and I was converting to gas logs. The gas fireplace company said I needed a chimney inspection and cleaning. I told them I had it 6 months ago - but I needed a new one. Fine. I used a different company to inspect the chimney and do some brick work. I saw the photos of the debris on the shelf and inside the chimney!! The other company removed Half of a 5 gallon bucket of debris. And they showed me a nail or screw one damper that was not secured during the first cleaning. So I am very disappointed - did JCS even do anything? Oh, and I paid double to JCS rather than the second company for the same services. TLDR: I do not recommend JCS

Jose from Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning came out and I know he faced a daunting task! He was at our home for 3 hours and 45 minutes working steadily to accomplish the cleaning...and WOW was I impressed!!! When he was finished he showed me before and after pictures of each and every vent he cleaned, and in addition to horrific amounts of disgusting, thick gray dust, I actually recognized a lot of things that had gotten lost over the years by falling into the registers! Needless to say I was shocked, and relieved at the wonderful job that Jose did, and it was well worth the money for a more healthy air quality inside our home. I will definitely be calling Lowe's Duct Cleaning for services again...but much, much sooner and more frequently next time! Many thanks for the outcome, and Jose's time and expertise!!
