Checked out Uchi Ramen and Tea in Kokomo, and it's a pretty solid addition to the Asian food scene here. It's in a very noticeable spot with an open parking lot that makes getting in and out easy, even during busier times. The space inside is clean and simple, and the restroom was well-kept, which I always appreciate. Ordering is mostly self-service, which actually worked pretty smoothly, and they even have a drive-thru that seems geared toward the tea drinks. I went with one of the ramen bowls. It was good overall, though nothing that really set it apart from other places I've tried. The broth had nice flavor but could've used a little more punch. The karaage chicken was crispy and enjoyable, but again, pretty standard. Food came out quickly, and the whole experience was straightforward without any hassle. A nice, convenient spot to have in Kokomo, especially if you're craving something warm and easy. I'd come back, mainly for the convenience and the tea options. The broth was rich, the noodles were perfect, and the toppings were fresh and high quality. The bowl is massive, so definitely take caution before attempting the challenge. It's no joke and is way harder than it looks. The staff was friendly and super encouraging, making the experience fun whether you win or lose. Just keep in mind that if you fail, the bowl is pretty expensive, so be ready for that. Still, even with the price, the quality makes it worth it. The decor is also really impressive. The atmosphere feels cozy, modern, and authentic, making it a great spot whether you're dining casually or taking on the challenge. Everything is clean, well-kept, and designed with a lot of thought. Even though I didn't beat the challenge, the food and overall experience were fantastic. I'd easily come back just for a regular bowl of ramen. Highly recommend this spot for ramen lovers and anyone looking for a fun dining experience!

The interior was a vibe with dim lighting that made the rainy meal experience even cozier. Ordering is easy either through the staff or a self ordering kiosk. I ordered a Hokkaido Miso ramen and sat down. Before I could pull out my phone my ramen came out piping hot. As I sipped and slurped my way through the ramen I tasted a rich and savory broth. It had a soft red miso flavor to it which complimented the fresh veggies, chasu and the egg. The chasu was thick and tender. The noodles were cooked perfectly too. I liked the addition of corn to finish up the soup at the end. If I'm in the area again I will be stopping for bubble tea as the menu looked great!

Thankfully, Yujo Ramen & Boba Tea was right up the road. It's tucked into the commercial strip off Meridian and 96th--you could almost miss it if you're not paying attention. I'll be honest: I arrived around 1:30pm and it was completely empty, which caught me off guard. But the vibe was nice and calming, the menu was extensive (ramen and boba options for days), and I landed on the spicy miso ramen--exactly what I needed to warm me up. Nailed it. The broth was rich, savory, and comforting with just the right amount of heat. Every ingredient tasted vibrant and fresh. The green onions, tender pork, and perfectly marinated soft-boiled egg were the ideal companions swimming in that spicy miso goodness. On a gray, cold Indianapolis day, this bowl absolutely hit the spot. Can't wait to come back and try the boba.

Found this place on yelp and decided to try it with my coworkers and customer. Be sure to ask for a table in the middle of you're taller as the booths are slightly small. They even had asahi dry beer from Japan. Would definitely come back here next time I'm in Logansport area. My customers loved it as well. Thank you!

Placed a delivery order (it's been a long weekend) one hour later the delivery driver reaches out and says "they said another 30 minutes I'm going to run and deliver ice cream to someone else real quick" okay, cool. He gets back. The angry lady refuses to give him a time. He told me maybe I should call store. I call. I ask her for a time because we are approaching the 2 hour mark. (At this point the kids are loosing it over being hungry ) THIS LADY YELLS AT THE DELIVERY DRIVER TO "GO AWAY GO AWAY!" then goes off on me about the delivery driver like I'm his boss and then starts shit talking both me and delivery driver to people in the restaurant and other workers like she forgets I'm still on the phone. Then comes back and tells me it's going to be 30 MORE minutes. And starts CUSSING ME OUT WITH MY KIDS LISTENING. All I did was call to get an update on order. It was 3 freaking orders of fried rice. That's it. Running a business that completely unprofessional will not last long. And that lady needs serious help on the other end of that phone. Whew
