Rivercats players were available for meet and greet and autographs once the gates opened, and the fun and excitement began. As a Legacy member, I went up to the Legacy Lounge where breakfast was served, and I enjoyed mingling with friends I've made during the season, for the last time this season. Bob and Tom greeted us at the door, who I will miss immensely, along with the catering crew, Kevin, Gary and Avante, who does an excellent job. I will definitely miss them during the off season, and appreciate how well they took care of of us this season.

For example, feast your eyes on the new-ish Shrem museum, right on the edge of campus. New to Davis? This museum is directly across the street from UCD's visitor and conference center on one side, and the campus concert hall (wine-named Mondavi Center). High-tail it over to the museum and keep your wallet in your pocket -- it's free. It's 30 minutes or so you won't mind giving up. A fun mix of modern art that is always changing, so i won't date my review here. At the very least, it's a beautiful space with some thought-provoking installations every time I'm in town. I believe there's some kind of rule that all the artists have some connection to UC Davis. Davis hates cars, so the adjoining parking lot is about $10, during the week only. Weekends? Cars galore, no charge. Inspiring!

I like that is in the heart of Sacramento. There's street parking and nearby garages. Expect to pay for parking in this area. I have not had a terrible experience in all of my times here. Those who work here take care of the building inside and outside. It sure is beautiful to look at during the night time with the lights. If you have not had a chance to experience an event here, I suggest you check it out. If you are just curious about the grounds, just go for a walk around this auditorium, it is near cool local businesses and is totally worth checking out.

I love the nostalgia of the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium - it feels old timey but still updated and not run down. There are 3 levels, but not a bad seat in the house! They sell food and drinks during normal shows, but of course they are still pricy like most concerts are! Staff is questionable - most are nice, but then some take their jobs a little too seriously if you know what I mean. Since the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium is downtown, you have the problem of downtown parking. You can be lucky with street parking, but there are also parking garages nearby. I also like that the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium is surrounded by restaurants too - so you can grab a bite before or after an event. I'm sure I will be back again soon! Check them out!

It is used not only as a museum and exhibitions but can be rented out for events and weddings. At the time of our visit, there was an exhibition of the farm families in and around the Delta. And the museum's caretaker gave us a tour, showed us a video, and shared a lot of information about the building. It's a great way to learn about a piece of Clarksburg history. Inside it is an Art Gallery, and also a multipurpose activity/community space. Through the front door, which is located at the corner of 1st and E streets past some large art sculptures, is a book store of published art books, and to the left corner is a info/cashier counter and person. Past that opens up to a large multistory atrium area, filled with art, but also a couple of tables with 4-5 chairs each. In the hot Davis summers, this is a cool place to hang out, literally, as there is OPAC available for you (Other People's AC), and WiFi! Currently the artist featured on this floor is Mark Bullwinkle, an American artist with SF Bay Area roots and metal quirky sculpture installations, particularly in Emeryville and Berkeley, that he created with a blowtorch. Up the stairs or elevator to floor 2, there is a study/lounge that over looks the atrium below, with other artists' work in the nooks and crannies around the staircase and little rooms. The 3rd floor is a full art floor, with mostly ceramic sculptures from various artists. It is free to enter. I did an event here a year ago, a UC Davis student's birthday party with entertainment in the atrium space. And more recently I came here with 2 friends to chill in the OPAC and tables/chairs in the 1st floor Atrium before heading on to dinner on a lazy Sunday afternoon road trip.

There was also a bathroom on the second floor. There was classical music playing throughout the building. It was a nice departure from working in my hotel room and I enjoyed seeing some of the artwork and sculptures on display.

Hundreds if not a thousand people came out to support local and domestic brew companies and food trucks with 100% of profits going towards Weave. Everything was well organized and the areas were kept clean. Some of the beer tents ran out of their most popular options so if people were an hour or two late, they most likely missed out on some beer. We were given volunteer shirts, snacks and water throughout the check in phase of the event. The staff was friendly and able to answer all of the volunteer's questions. We had a great time nonetheless and enjoyed the atmosphere and energy of everyone who attended. Would I recommend going to this brew festival next year? Answer: hellls yes #FinallyELITE

Parking = $20-100 for events. Plenty of street metered parking for $25, only 2 blocks away. If you preorder your parking, you can get it for $22. Decent amounts of food and drink options. Service - Security was smooth. Long lines but quick. Ushers were friendly. The men's room had an attendant, so clean. But mostly everything is self service. Glad someone opened the emergency exits, because thousands of people waiting to go down an escalator would have taken us over an hour! Price - Depending on your seats. My daughter waited until the last second and got discounted seats + parking, dinner, gas, toll, etc. totalled $200 for our father daughter date. Went 2x recently, for the Sacramento Kings Draft Party, and day 1 of the Summer League…read more Located downtown Sacramento, there are plenty of options for parking, most are parking garages within short walking distance, or there is some metered parking that may require a little longer and more adventurous walk to stadium. There is a strict bag policy so be sure to read up on it if you are taking in an event so as not to delay your entry. Going through security is easy enough, voth security. And the ticket scanner/door workers are always pleasant and efficient in processing you into the arena. Both the draft party, and summer league were informal, so most tickets were general admission and your were free to sit almost anywhere(barring the first 3 or 4 rows). (The draft party initially only had 5-7 sections open , but as the crowd grew closer to draft, more sections were opened . There were a few basic concessions open, for water, beer, hot dogs, chicken fingers, pizza, and a few of the other stands. Not all concessions that are normally open for concerts or regular season games were open, but was able to get chicken strips that were pretty good in quantity, and quality with fries and a beer. All in all, was a fun time, and a nice arena.
