Kurt has been my jeweler for over 30 years! I recently went to see him in May to get my stone set lower in an eternity band. Since it was a custom order, he said it would take about three weeks. It was ready a few days early. When my daughter and I went to pick it up, it was absolutely stunning! Kurt even added three small diamonds on each side (12 total) for an added special touch to my setting. I will never go anywhere else! He always provides excellent customer service and does amazing work! read more

I wanted a two-tone setting for a pear shaped diamond ring. I was so happy with my first purchase from Kurt, a 3 stone diamond ring, I wanted to see if he could make this happen. Fortunately, I was able to go to Kurt's showroom and luckily for me he had the setting/band I wanted and the pear shaped diamond that was perfect for the setting. So a week later I picked it up. WOW!!! The ring is absolutely STUNNING! So happy I went to see him at his showroom! My first purchase was from Kurt's Etsy store, KurtUngDesign, where I purchased his 3 diamond ring, as mentioned. It's absolutely a one-of-a-kind with all 3 diamonds in equal size and 8 prong settings... they look like beautiful blooms! If you're looking for a special ring/jewelry, I highly encourage you to work with Kurt. He is courteous, professional, provides amazing customer service/communication and very competitive pricing. You will get more for your money! Thank you again, Kurt! read more

I've been going to Kurt Ung for nearly 30 years. Truly has the best quality and prices of all the jewelry stores I've been into . Especially at Fullerton Jewelry Mart. Kurt is my SAVIOR. Came here to get a simple engagement ring with my husband, I wanted something small but pretty. We bought a beautiful rose gold, pear shape morganite ring with his tungsten wedding band for $500 total. I get so many compliments on my ring. Six months later, my ring has an accident down the disposal - RUINED. I thought it would be unfixable. Because Fullerton is far from me, I got a quote at my local mall that said my ring would not be worth fixing and to just buy another one. I cried of course, but figured we'd try with Kurt or look for another. Kurt looked at my ring and said he could fix it. $90 and it looks NEW! My husband and I are in shock but ultimately just grateful he saved my ring. Best Jeweler hands down. Thank you Kurt!!!!! read more

I've been going to this jewelry store for over 25 years..very honest and top quality. Prices are good and fair.

3/28/23 First time at UBS/Kurt, found necklaces online, wanted to see in person. He's in Fullerton Jewelry Mart Literally his booth was busiest! People were willing to wait. A lady showed up who seemed like a long time customer, she brought male friend looking for diamond earrings for daughters 21st. The man gave budget, Kurt worked with him, gave expert guidance on price, quality, size etc. on top of that, the lady brought 12 items of all sorts of jewelry to clean (which Kurt Did while her friend was deciding earrings). *Also, the lady ended up buying a couple of diamond rings. **Kurt, even cleaned the diamond earrings the guy ended up buying. He is so kind, honest, great service, patient, multitasks, he cares to listen, has great attitude, easygoing, will help find what u like, fix pieces if he can. I didn't go to any other booths However tempting it was to "look around". going back w/my daughter, found items she may like. read more

If you are looking for an engagement ring, here is the perfect place. I absolutely fell in love with my engagement at first sight. I have shopped around for a few places and I was very impressed with Kurt's professionalism, knowledge, and world class customer service. I was able to shop with no pressures of buying a ring. Kurt was very friendly and gave very good advice. I felt very comfortable with him and trust his recommendations. He made me feel confident of my choices and I am so happy with my purchase. He is also a certified gemologist and does designs his own jewelry. I don't meet too many ppl that are as qualified as Kurt! read more

Kurt is the man! Our relationship started when he assisted in hand crafting the perfect engagement ring for my then fiancée & now I go to him for every jewelry need. His pricing is always fair & affordable & he provides appraisals for each of his diamonds. He is so amazing that I have referred over 5 of my friends who have gotten married in the past 3 years & they each agreed that he was the best after getting multiple estimates elsewhere. Lastly he provides jewelry cleanings for life after purchase. Truly a 5 star experience read more

What can I say that hasn't already been said. Kurt (UBS Diamonds) is THE MAN like someone else already said. He has the best prices, best service, best custom orders and EXTREME patience with demanding customers (like myself). I refuse to go anywhere else. I have and learned my lesson. My entire family has been going to him for almost 30 years. Even though I no longer live there I travel there just to see him, that is how good he is. I would say enough said and I could go on, he has honesty and integrity and is just a real pleasure to do business with. It is almost like family. We love you Kurt (and your mom and aunt)! read more

Kurt is the absolute best! I can honestly say he will be my official Jeweler for life. So let's rewind to 5 years ago when I upgraded my wedding band set. So first off, I wanted a floating setting and no one offered the style, it's a "liability", according to other jewelers. I understand the maintenance of this setting, have had loose diamonds before, have had them fall out and have even lost one. It's the price you pay for the look. But doesn't mean it shouldn't be offered, it's my favorite look. I hate when diamonds are set in too much metal on wedding rings , makes them look clunky. Any who, After searching for what felt like for ever, Kurt had my band and has been maintaining it ever since! He's been so nice about it and doesn't mind my frequent drop in's just to get my prongs checked. He actually suggest that I do it .... Since my initial purchase with him, the setting and wedding band, which he gave me at an outstanding price, I have purchased from a few times after that. Last actually today with a Belize pendant I have been eyeing for a while now. He just has the best prices around and the quality of the diamonds are outstanding. I have never seen one with even a slightly yellow tint before. I just wanted to write him a review as I have been so happy with his service and products over the years. Thanks Kurt , will impulse buy with you again on a random ring check. read more

Kurt was extremely helpful when it came to picking out an engagement ring for my fiance. Not only did he do custom work on the band, he also had a good selection of diamonds and hard-to-beat prices. On top of that, he wasn't pushy and in fact was extremely friendly. We compared prices and service with many other jewelers at the Fullerton Jewelry Mart. Some were okay, some were good, but Kurt and UBS were the best. I highly recommend checking them out. The booth is in the northwest corner of the store, right by the door. read more

My family has been going to Kurt for over 20 years. He and his sister are amazingly kind, honest, dependable. Their selection is beautiful for any occasion or gift for special people. Great customer service and satisfying shopping even if you don't buy on spot. read more

The best jewelry experience I could have asked for. Kurt is the best jeweler and went out of the way to make sure I was happy. He can design and create anything you want and I am more then thrilled with the ring he made me for my fiancé! I would recommend Kurt for anything you need and he adjusted two other rings the same day with no problem! I will be going to Kurt for everything I need from now on and have already referred two of my friends to him!! Highly highly recommend! read more

Let me start off by saying that I am part crow. Anything sparkly grabs my attention- glitter, tin foil, broken glass.. you get the picure. Knowing the aforementioned quirk, the Jewelry Mart is my happy place and UBS is the twinkle in my eye. I was referred to Kurt by a few friends who had engagment rings made by him. Each one ring is beautiful and unique and I secretly want to steal each of them (oops, cat's out of the bag; sorry ladies). Kurt is super friendly, patient and has a good eye for details. He's also approachable, so I don't feel silly for asking questions. USB's service is great. He sized a ring for me this weekend and while I waited helped me design a ring setting for some random sapphire and diamond studs I don't wear (if you've ever had your ears stretched, baby studs just don't stay in- what was I thinking?). Quality and pricing is great, and when the BF and I are ready to shop for THE ring (sigh), I know we'll go see Kurt. read more

Kurt is outstanding designer and businessman! We've recommended him to countless other couples since he designed my engagement ring and wedding band in 2015. We will always recommend / use Kurt for our diamond needs, very trust worthy and high integrity! read more

I went to the jewelry mart to secretly spy on another shop/booth that I've been emailing with regarding a custom setting for a 0.58 carat diamond. I checked out several booths who quoted me lower prices than the other place but I didn't feel confident. The other booths I visited also tried to sell me semi-mounts to reset the 1.1 carat diamond that I was already wearing but I tried to stay strong and keep looking because honestly, this place is just so overwhelming and the prices seemed to get lower the further I went. I wasn't even halfway through the entire room when I happened upon Kurt's booth. He was just quietly arranging some items for his display while I browsed through his semi-mounts. He graciously let me try on all the settings I was interested in. Before I even asked him for a quote on the setting I had in mind, I found the perfect already-made-setting for my small center stone. All we needed to do was put it in the ring! I was hesitant at first because the deal he gave me was almost too good to be true but I finally gave in. He even took me back to the jeweler's room where they put my stone in this beautiful setting. He also cleaned my other rings for me. I'm so impressed by his no nonesense style and professionalism. No pressure to buy from him at all. After we completed that transaction, I showed him the setting I originally had in mind and he was like, you know what, I just got something in that's very similar to that and he wasn't lying! He quoted me a price that's almost half of the other places to custom make the setting. I'm definitely coming back for him to make me that setting for my bigger diamond. So excited! read more

Kurt has been our go to jeweler for the last 14 years. Several of my friends and family also trust and use Kurt. He is a great person to do business with. He is always very professional, yet very personable. His information and insight about diamond cut & quality was very helpful 14 years ago when my husband was first diamond shopping for an engagement ring. When it was time for him to purchase he had no doubt about buying from Kurt. We bought our wedding set with Kurt and several other pieces though the years. I just can't Thank UBS enough for their quality Gems, service and a truly wonderful experience. It is obvious Kurt takes pride in his work and has accumulated a well deserved top notch reputation in his business. I won't trust my jewelry with anyone else. He's the best! read more

Kurt is so great!! He was so helpful for me as I was getting a ring for my soon-to-be fiancée. He helped me with materials I already had and helped me make decisions about the ring that benefitted me and were cost effective. After I proposed, I found that the ring was just too small for her so we went back to him and he resized the ring in about an hour so that she could have it back. A fine gentleman with your best interest in mine. I HIGHLY recommend Kurt. read more

I came here to get my engagement ring resized and the experience I had was beyond belief. The quote I received was the lowest and that's what bought me in. On top of charging half of what other places charge, my ring was polished to look bright and brand new for no extra charge. The customer service I received was on a level more places should strive for. Also, there was no seam left in the ring at all, I could not tell visually that the size had been altered (apart from the awesome shine job). I will make it a point to come here in the future for my jewelry needs and I hope everyone gives them their business. You will not be disappointed. read more

First let me say that Kurt is awesome! I was looking for an engagement ring for girlfriend at the time (fiancé now) I went to the jewelry exchange in Tustin and was so let down. It felt like a used car store and I felt pressured to buy a diamond that wasn't certified and had huge carbon spots in it. I know a bit about diamonds and thought the jewelry exchange would have been a good place to go. Let me say DO NOT GO THERE! Anyway I found the jewelry mart in Fullerton and thought I'd give it a try. When I walked in I found UBS and Kurt was so welcoming and professional. He knows what he's talking about and gave me a pressure free buying experience. I found the ring that we wanted and bought diamonds that were better than I expected to get! For the price that the other place was trying to sell a flawed diamond I got a GIA certified VS1 from Kurt. Could not recommend this place more. Thank you so much UBS you guys are awesome. read more

Kurt has been our jeweler for years. He designs beautiful jewelry.
