It was built by Computer Shack in D'iberville. Don't go there. They SUCK! The computer was ridiculously loud from DAY 1. The lady that built it said she did it on purpose to keep it extra cool. Yah right. Incompetence. (You could literally hear the computer from another room) But I digress... I have taken that computer to Best Buy to get it repaired MANY times trying to identify why my uber-loud computer kept turning off. Despite many attempts to fix (and many expensive new parts added) the good guys at Best Buy couldn't identify what the underlining issue was. Then I went to ROGERS TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS! They initially couldn't identify it either. But... They didn't give up. They kept troubleshooting and testing... troubleshooting and testing.. They were professional and patient and would periodically call me with updates. Not once did I feel like they were trying to take advantage. And they succeeded where the others failed. These guys have GRIT! Their prices were BEYOND reasonable! Need your computer fixed? Take it HERE.

I was offered $600 for it because it is in mint condition, with original box it came in, original manual, original charger and case. It was out of the box once in 2013 just to activate it. The person I sold it to said if i replace the dead battery he would pay me $600 for the phone and brought me cash. I left the phone at this business for repair. Finally went to pick it up, paid the bill of $85.59 for the battery. Put it in the box and got home and noticed there was a tear on the right side. Called the store and they asked I bring it back. Mean while, I called the guy who bought it and he no longer wanted it, so I drove the same night over 100 miles round trip to give him back his cash. 05/28/2026 Took the phone back. They offered to repair it for free and refund the battery money, but after checking, the part they need will not be original and wil be after market, which kills the value of the phone 100 %. Eric was super friendly, answered all my questions, had the part on hand and got to work immediately. While I was waiting some lady came up and was being very rude. She claimed that Eric messed up her phone. He tried to explain that the part he replaced was defective. He refunded her money and offered to repair her phone again, but she continued to throw a fit and make threats. Eric handled the situation very professionally and even got my phone fixed in the middle of it. I will definitely take all my future phone repairs to Cellular Nerd.

Hostile Owner - Terrible Experience - Lost Hundreds…read more On March 11, 2026, I brought three iPads to Cellular Nerds for screen replacements. When I picked them up several days later, all three appeared to have new screens. BUT wait. However, during our drive to Disney on March 13 right after pick up, two of my three children began experiencing issues with their iPads on the drive to Orlando--problems we had never encountered before. One device had a broken, sticky home button, while the other refused to stay on and charge. After returning from vacation, I contacted the owner on March 25 to discuss these newly observed issues. The owner assured me the repairs were under warranty, apologized, and promised to fix them. When I dropped off the iPads on March 25, Eric, the owner, explained that a stepson or son-in-law had assisted with repairs and made several mistakes, again offering an apology. By April 9, Eric informed us that the home button was fixed, but claimed my child intentionally broke it which is a complete false claim. I asked if he and his son moves the buttons around when he fixes the screens he admitted yes. He also said the iPad that wouldn't stay on or charge likely needed a new battery, with no mention of possible water damage after review of second drop off. Weeks went by without any update, so we reached out again on April 17th. Eric then admitted weeks later he had forgotten to order the battery. On April 24--nearly a month and a half after our initial drop-off--I called Eric for another update. He then suggested the battery was not the issue, and the problem might lie with the motherboard. At that point, he recommended we consider purchasing a new iPad. A new IPAD that had a scratched screen and worked perfectly before the handling of Cellular Nerd. During our conversation on April 24, I politely requested a refund for the iPad that remained nonfunctional after repairs, even offering to return the screen he installed. Immediately after my request, the owner responded by yelling, using profanities and obscene language, then abruptly hung up. I called back right away to express my discomfort and disappointment with their disrespectful behavior, which was entirely uncalled for and unlike anything I'd experienced before. The profanity continued and hung up again. My wife tried talking to him and the behavior continued. My wife and I were so disturbed by Eric's hostility that we called and requested assistance from the Navarre police department to retrieve our devices. My elderly mother whom later retrieved the devices was also treated with disrespect. I am sharing this account to document our unfortunate experience transparently and clearly with Cellular Nerd, supported by our receipt and documented timed date stamps. We are out 100's of dollars and an IPAD that doesn't work. My son continues to cry about it and my family continues to be shocked by the owners disgusting behavior. We regret our decision to trust Cellular Nerd and will NEVER return.

The incident left my phone unusable in any way and I went into panic mode because most of my schooling is done online and updates are generated every hour from my instructors/leaders/peers and so I was stressing out a bit. Sadly they do not have access on base so their "drive to you" option did not work for me when trying to get an appointment online through their website. I had to get a friend to drive me down there. For those of you that want to use that service, it will be a $30 down payment and that WON'T be counted towards your actual bill to fix your electronic device, but pays for their convenience of travel to you. Anyways, when I arrived I explained what happened and the associate that helped me (Caleb) did not hesitate to take on the task. He was pretty confident in being able to fix the problem by today and that gave me a strong sense of relief. He gave me an estimated 3hrs of work to fix my phone and before you know it, he was actually done in half the time. I didn't wander off too far so I was able to come back to the shop in 5 mins. I was excited to be presented with my phone looking like it was brand new, right out of the box. I played around with the screen and buttons as he generated my bill and it worked just as I expected! I was so happy. My device is a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus and I was told it would be pricey to fix but I didn't flinch at the price because a brand new phone would have cost a ton more than what they charged for just a new screen. I paid around $280 for the service. After that, I promised to be more careful with my phone and actually bought a glass screen protector to avoid this ever happening again. Regardless, I highly recommend this company and would go back to them with all my device problems. Thank you so much for being so awesome! -Candice
