Edited (summer 2015) to downgrade a star. The office staff is no longer as helpful as they used to…read morebe, and the 4th star was for them. Drs are good though. The Drs here are good. They spend time with each patient. As much time as needed. The care my family has received here has been thoughtful and caring. It's a family practice so there are often all ages in the wait room. There's a children's play area. And the selection and variety of magazines may be the best in Buffalo. But the wait room, which is spacious with lots of chairs and magazines, now has a crazy loud TV with commercials running all the time. Why do these offices think we want this noise at the dr office? People sitting here are often not feeling well and may have headaches. Can you imagine the upcoming flu (often with headaches) season sitting in a loud room? This is just noise. The children feel the need to talk (shout?) over the tv. It just gets louder and louder. I'd never come here if I was actually sick. I'd call and ask they meet me outside or turn off the noise. Honestly. 0 stars for the tv in the wait room 5 stars for actual Drs 3 stars is the ave.

I've been going to the location on Hopkins for a few years now. About a year ago, my doctor had a…read morebaby and has barely worked since. Every time I call, they say she is only in "a couple mornings per week." I called at 10am one day and they said she was already gone for the day. Basically, she's never available. If you get sick, you can't call a person. You have to leave a message and receive a call back. The recording states that the triage line is for medical questions only. When the nurse called me back, she couldn't offer a single piece of advice or feedback on my concern. So much for the line for medical questions. She said I had to make an appointment with a resident. I said I wanted a non resident physician and she told me no. I do not want to see a resident, sick or not, and was not very happy that they wouldn't uphold a request. They offered an appointment with my doctor two weeks away, since she wasn't going to be in until then. They shouldn't allow doctors to work so few hours per week because they can't provide quality healthcare. They also shouldn't force people to see residents or not offer alternatives. When you start with the practice, they never tell you that you'll never see a non resident when you're sick. I will not be going back.

Both locations are new and modern and there is a pharmacy on-site at both which is handy. When I forget to pick up an important Rx, I usually get a friendly phone call and they drop it off to me. The practitioners and staff are on the younger side and have fresh attitudes instead of former doctors that were old and just grinding out the same old thing. The whole experience feels more modern and patient focused. The Evergreen Health approach is open to all types of people and I live seeing people from the LGBT+ community there, but the atmosphere is inclusive and "traditional" families are equally at home. Imo, every practice should serve the full spectrum of a neighborhood's population. The care is top notch. I see that there are some negative reviews here ...and I have to say that it seems that there is more to the story than the person is telling... Like were they non+compliant with Rx or doctors orders or is there a behavioral problem? I recommend the practice to everyone that I know and I honestly believe that it is the best healthcare choice in our area

They always verify with me if it is ok to text, mail, leave a voicemail. I appreciate that. I have been a long time patient of Evergreen and do not trust my care with anyone else. From primary care staff, specialty care staff, to pharmacy services personnel, all physicians and nurses, and all other employees including those behind the scene, I watched them grow from a small one doctor practice into an awesome large revamped multi-specialty building still treating the same community....and then even more. It's been my pleasure to watch the tremendous growth and success and cannot wait to see what other opportunities awaits your organization! Warm Regards, Sharon Rupp

I chose Dr. Campagna somewhat randomly when I needed a primary care physician (closest to my house…read morethat takes my insurance). I have not had call to see him very often but both he and the nurse practitioner in his office have great bedside manners and are responsive in office or on the phone. The office staff is nice too. I have been able to get same day appointments, but sometime the wait is overly long. Also, his clientele is mostly older (geriatric frankly). This didn't affect his ability to treat nerve damage in my arm or a strep throat, but he floundered a little when considering what medicines to proscribe a nursing mother. His office is a little dated, but I have generally found that to be the case with primary care physicians (and chiropractors) in Buffalo.

When I told her my symptoms she panicked, thinking it was a heart attack and told me to go to the ER. I explained it was an ongoing issue and I've had a health EKG recently so she continues with the new patient process and says the doctor will call me next week and schedule me in a month. What?!! So I tell her this urgent issue and I don't get a call for a week or an appt for a MONTH?! I question this and she gets more rude about how that's just how it works and she can't do anything about it. She gets nasty so I say I get it but am just trying to understand and I ask her not to be rude. She goes IM NOT BEING RUDE! YOURE BEING MEAN! Hahaaa... Mean? What am I 12 years old? I laugh and say "Mean? Because I'm asking you about how the scheduling works?" She hangs up on me. She was certified INSANE. She did a great job of losing a potential new patient for this doctor. I would seriously consider the doorkeeper he has. Horrid.
