    Locked my keys in car and was trying to get home, 2 miles away. Uber app would not download/verify account. Language is in Arabic or some foreign tongue. Although I couldn't get the app to download and the email link to verify my linked email address, I was somehow able to "book a ride" with an unknown driver who cancelled my non-requested trip and charged me a ride fee and cancellation rate. My debit card had to be terminated because of the fraud stemming from Uber and its deceitful drivers. The photo below is the one attached to my Uber receipt for the trip I never made. Avoid Uber and this idiot at all cost--it definitely cost me. Should have hitchhiked.

    Dont know how the above photo is on MY REVIEW. I'M BRENDA M/ DRIVER "DADLY "ruined our family THANKSGIVING!! I ordered an UBER at 10:30 a.m. Thanksgiving day for my disabled adult son. He was coming from San Marcos to San Antonio to my home. When just 20 min away from getting here he was in New Braunfels I got a call from a Nebraska#(308)229-4186 ,I answered but Noone was on the line just a recording saying there was a stop. I called my son, he said the driver had to stop. I asked to speak to the driver ,I could hear him speaking in another language and driver refused to speak to me.My son said he didn't speak English, used a translator but not successfully!! DADLY had turned around and took my son BACK to SAN MARCOS and was told he had to book another car back to SAN ANTONIO! SO the $36 rate was upped to $68 and he wasn't here to spend Thanksgiving with us.This was our last chance to celebrate Thanksgiving with my son, grandson, nephews!! DADLY should have contacted ME, THE ACCOUNT HOLDER to approve of ANY changes in the ROUTE. Plain and SIMPLE!!

    DO NOT TRUST THIS UBER DRIVER JOHN-SEE PICS BELOW!!! I ordered an Uber ride from downtown last night (4-29-23), he took my friend and I to our destination and when he drove off I realized I left my coach backpack in his vehicle. I reached out to him and he confirmed he had it and that after his next drop off he would bring it back to me. Waiting for over an later and he did not show up. I filed a police report and contacted Uber, they proceeded to reach out to him and he DENIED having my bag. He lied to Uber, to the company that he shows he's been a proud respected driver for 4 years to! Uber closed the case and will do nothing further to help me. I had serval valuable items in my bag. It's a pink Coach backpack with some beige accents. A mini backpack if you will. A Coach beige wallet and other personal items were inside.

    This is the first time I have used Uber and I had the greatest driver, Marco Antonio Salina. He came out the day before to scope it out.I was able to meet him and explain what my need were. I am 82 and disabled. I wanted a round trip to the airport to pick up a cat and return home. Marco acted like a son. He was with me every step of the way. He performed above and beyond expectations. The respect he showed me was outstanding.

    I would give Wilson, an uber driver, negative stars if it were possible. This driver was so rude and aggressive and caused me and two others to be extremely late to work for no reason. He's picked us up And he drives a Nissan rogue and one of us is 6'3 and it's hard for him to squeeze in tight backseats. He asked if he could sit in the front. The driver, rather than say no, starts griping And acting aggressive and saying no just get in the back. You're not welcome up here. So we scoot over and he gets in then suddenly he starts yelling get out! Everyone get out of my car!!! Then he canceled a quickly as possible so we couldn't rate him on uber. By the time we got another we were over half an hour late to work and got written up.

    Always a nightmare. I usually get triple-charged, and they have no customer service. This happens EVERY time. Back to Yellow Cab.

    Two uber drivers canceled our ride AFTER we waited 15 minutes for them to pick us up. We lost out dinner reservation.

Our driver, Johnny, who also happens to be the owner arrived quickly. We had a pleasant ride in his clean and comfy Crown Victoria former police car. We also had a nice conversation with him and learned how he got into the business. We made it to the airport promptly and of course Johnny helped with our bags, and also my wobbly mum get out of the back. If you are traveling to and from the airport to a hotel downtown with more than one person, this is the smartest (cheapest) way to go. About $25. Go shuttle is $19/person.

    We were just refused service by two of San Antonio cab drivers at San Antonio airport…read more My husband, a disabled veteran and myself and my husband's service dog attempted to get a ride with a San Antonio cab, after being directed to it by airport personnel. The first driver said that there wasn't enough room. It was a four door sedan. He directed us to the mini van, same company, and the female driver also told us there wasn't enough room for the dog. In a mini van?? A airport personnel came forward to find out what the issue was and why hadn't we gotten in a vehicle. I told her, quite loudly, that these drivers did not want to take us. Another taxi driver, a very nice man, from Star cab immediately got out of his car and told us he would take us, no problem. I will let everyone know with the Veteran organization that we're are here with about what happened.
