Our driver, Johnny, who also happens to be the owner arrived quickly. We had a pleasant ride in his clean and comfy Crown Victoria former police car. We also had a nice conversation with him and learned how he got into the business. We made it to the airport promptly and of course Johnny helped with our bags, and also my wobbly mum get out of the back. If you are traveling to and from the airport to a hotel downtown with more than one person, this is the smartest (cheapest) way to go. About $25. Go shuttle is $19/person.

The first driver said that there wasn't enough room. It was a four door sedan. He directed us to the mini van, same company, and the female driver also told us there wasn't enough room for the dog. In a mini van?? A airport personnel came forward to find out what the issue was and why hadn't we gotten in a vehicle. I told her, quite loudly, that these drivers did not want to take us. Another taxi driver, a very nice man, from Star cab immediately got out of his car and told us he would take us, no problem. I will let everyone know with the Veteran organization that we're are here with about what happened.
