It's been 4 month since I wrote that review and I have been seeing a professional acupuncture so I want to provide an update. I pay her a little bit more money, not much really and I have been getting amazing treatment! I now realize I should have left UB Clinics very shortly after I started there. I was in such a vulnerable place when I got there! My family member had just died by suicide and I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease that was causing me a great deal of pain. I didn't have the energy to find an alternative. It has taken my new acupuncturist about 2 months, but finally managed to be able to reset my body so the myriad of concerns that were growing from bad treatment at UB Clinics are healing. This new acupuncturist had to undo all the damage UB Clinics did. Also, I never feel pain! At UB Clinics they kept telling me "Korean acupuncture SHOULD hurt!" yup! So when I screamed in agony from that time that student tortured me, the Provost claimed that the problem was ME! Can you imagine? A University Provost telling a paying client who is seeking medical treatment and pin relief that, "YOU are difficult" and "YOU should go to a Spa!" It's absurd! But some people don't know how to every take responsibility or accountability for their own flaws. These people are the ones who are drenched in their own ego's and will never be a part of a world that evolves. Although I made the mistake of staying there for 2 years, I am grateful for the exceptionally poor treatment I got in the end, because it was the motivation to move on to a practitioner who is helping me, once and for all! read more
